I'm not saying ALL photos are bad. I take a few usually of the whole stadium/arena or while the band is taking a bow or whatever. But look at the Tiger Woods photo above - arguably the best golfer of the last 40 years is hitting six feet from you and you are watching it through a tiny little screen and more than likely taking a really crappy photo of it. Watch/experience the actual thing happen while it's happening and then appreciate it from start to finish.
