I'm guessing it'll release this Tuesday; I think they usually update on the first Tuesday of the month but not entirely sure.

Yeah, I keep reminding myself BG3 is in August so I don’t buy any more big time commitment games between now and then. I put like 40hrs into an incomplete Act 1 during Early Access, so that’ll be a time sink. A lot of potentially good games this year.

Random SF6 thing, but going through tutorials on classic controls and I can do the normal for luke which is down, down-right, and right, but for the super art it says to do it twice basically and then punch. I can do the normal one without thinking about it, but am i just going to slow for the super?

Yeah, just gotta do it fast. Most of the supers are double quarter circles and a button, so it’s a good thing to practice and carries over to other games if you go down the fighter rabbit hole and try other titles. My issue is charge input characters, I avoid them because I can’t get the inputs reliably, but I might need to just get over myself and grind it out to learn the muscle memory.

On another note, SF6 is cross play between all platforms, so if anyone ever wants to throw hands I’m game.

I literally was in the combo tutorial thing for characters and just practiced the first 4-5 for like 2 hours last night lol. quarter circle, links, distance, etc.

First death in Diablo. Doing a dungeon and the Butcher pops up outta nowhere, definitely toughest boss I've faced so far.

Sorry, I know most of you don't play Madden anymore but I have to share.

I don't play much.

But I played a game and recently kicked off to a dude who decided he wanted to start the game running the clock out for some reason. He ran the playclock down to 1 or 2 seconds every time.....scored a TD, and left me like two minutes in the half. I scored a TD with a few seconds left.

At halftime he tried to onside, I assume so I would score quickly and he could run the clock out more. I caught it and ran back to the 5-yard-line. Literally picked up 3-4 yards per play every play and beat him at his own game by running the clock down to 1 second and kicking a FG at the 1.

Cheezing BS like this is why I stopped playing as much, but when it happens it is fun to beat people at their own cheating mess.

Been playing a relatively gear-independent build and it does a solid enough job on bosses. Problem is it's not really that much fun to play. It's essentially a build where you stun and freeze enemies and bash them with the arc lash. I don't know. I have a feeling I'll be respec'ing soon.

A2 @ level 34. The A1 boss fight was great. If that's any indication, they really stepped their game up on boss design.

I was trying to learn some Guile before I shut down for the night to learn how to consistently do charge moves. Having a good time, already have 13hrs.

This is something I don’t like about D3 and now D4. It’s very much so intended to be shaping your build and how you play around the uniques you drop. Or legendary or whatever. In PoE, your build might be shot in end game if you didn’t plan accordingly, but you can play through the campaign with virtually anything you want and see the skill come online as you progress. The skill gems take care of the modifiers, as opposed to being reliant on drops.

I think this new aspect system helps address that, but not fully. In any case, its fine - games need different mechanics. And for my taste, for my first play through adapting my build to what I drop doesn’t bother me much. As it happens, what I’m playing now is way more fun than what I started with.

On that note, the cold tree is excellent. Freezing mobs odd always fun, but some of the tech with ice shards rocks. Anytime you freeze an enemy they automatically fly out of you and home in on then, then ricochet off them and fly to another enemy, who is hopefully also frozen, etc. It’s chaos and I love it. I also just got a legendary with an aspect that makes frozen enemies explode when they thaw out for part of the damage you dealt to them while frozen :D

When you guys get legendaries that you no longer use, are you taking them to the occultist and removing the aspects?

That's what I have been doing so far. I was curious to see if you need to salvage them for special parts, but I haven't come across that yet.

OK, cool. I've also spent some of my obols at the curiosity vendor and received a couple of legendary items. I'm assuming it's OK to spend those, not sure what else I'm supposed to do with them.

I'm kind of lost. I cleared my mission logs that showed Act I and Act II and I have a mission marked Act III, but I've had that since before I finished my Act I missions.

Basically I don't know what I've completed and what I haven't and what I should do next. Am I really supposed to just wander around this map with no directions or clues to finish the campaign?

The MQ are the yellow quests. It identifies A2 and A3 questlines before you even get to Kyovashad for some reason, but if all you have on there now is A3 then you have completed A1 and A2. You can go right to A3 now.

Everything else is side quest filler, with exception of some class-specific quests early on (like what you do as sorc to get the enchantment slots). I don't recall what color those were.

Thanks. I guess looking through it I haven't completed all the priority quests. Apparently there's one for the sorceror specifically. I still can't get a horse. Looks like I'm gonna finish those and then head to act three.
