I'm not going to name specific people. Read the post-game thread.
Though I guess it is very understandable for the reaction to be so subdued since he's an RFA and we have no room currently to sign him.

Why not name specific people. You obviously have someone in mind. I read the game thread and I didn't see anyone down on what he did.

I still do it, unless somebody wants to guarantee me we're bringing Sessions back. All the people talking crap now, we'll see what your tune is when we let Sessions go this offseason and then could have had Conley and a 2010 first for Alexander. My guess is the tune will be different.

Just because we might not be able to resign Sessions does not negate his amazing game. I understand that you are looking towards the future, but that doesn't mean that everything Sessions does this season is worthless.
By the way, I feel confident that Hammond will not let Sessions walk. He will do everything in his power to move RJ, even if it means dumping him for garbage. Hammond is not an idiot. He sees everything we see in Sessions.

I disagree. The Bucks currently have $64.4M allotted in salary for next season. Even if no moves are made by the deadline, you could make a strong argument the Bucks have enough money to keep Sessions. I don't think he's going to get a deal worth in excess of $6M per year.
Nothing will not break me.

You also have to add in the cost of our draft choices (about $3 million) and if he keeps playing well, I would expect him to get at least $6 million and one of the teams interested in him has cap space to offer him a deal (Memphis.)

Another monster game by Ramon and/or CV almost forces him to trade RJ for an expiring doesnt it. Failing to do so and losing both in the off-season for nothing because we cant afford them would surely have people around the NBA questioning his abilities.

I hope Ramon follows this up with two or three more great games. That will force Hammond to finally get rid of that bum RJ.

True but that team also has a young PG of their own as we all know. Conley's playing his best ball of the season at the moment. If he finishes the season on a positive note, the Grizzlies may no longer be interested in Sessions.
As far as the draft picks, I could see Hammond looking to deal the first-round pick next year. He tried to trade his lottery pick last summer so I think it's very possible he'll try and trade next summer's pick as well.
Nothing will not break me.

Given the number of published reports we've seen about RJ being available, I think it's quite clear that trading RJ has become a priority for Hammond. And that was before Sessions' huge game last night.

I am! It was a fluke game! The Pistons came in here and underestimated the Bucks and Sessions. You fans are naive. I guarantee you he won't do that again to another team.
Sometimes a player has a bust out "he surprised us' game on a team that just did not come to play for whatever reason. Heavy legs, or weak minded, the Pistons looked out of sync until late when the game was on the line.
Teams who scout the Bucks properly from now on will take what Sessions did away. The Pistons Rodney Stuckey was stuck in the mud all night and Sessions is not even quick!
But he got to the line 23 times which is unheard of against past Pistons teams with Billups.
Iverson and Stuckey did a deplorable job on the ball defensively and no one helped them when Stuckey got by them which to me tells me there is dissension on that team...
Never do the Pistons in the past allow a layup line like that from the soft Bucks. Never...that is totally out of character.
I take nothing away from Sessions his motivation to play well and put up big numbers is quite evident. But I downplay this game which showed me absolutely NOTHING!
It would have showed me something ....if we had won the darn game! No moral victories here...

Bump for off-season nostalgia.
Mike Conley, Jr played pretty well last night.

Not for Conley it's not. No chance. But you said we would be "selling the farm" if we traded him in a deal for Amare, so that is all I need to know about your opinion of Sessions.
Someone has to stick up for this kid.
And yes, it's a bad idea. I wouldn't include him in the deal for Amare. It could be done other ways. He's the right PG for that team.
Conley may turn out to be a nice player, but it's a lateral move at best right now.
I was very defensive of Ramon and completely blinded by those times. I probably wouldn't have traded Sessions for anybody in the League.
Luke had this deal down perfect.

Mike Conley or Al Horford would be a Buck right now if Stern didn't rig that draft to punish the "tankers"

Conley is a good example of a guy that was a bit of a late bloomer. If I recall correctly he had a few rough years where it looked like he'd be out of the league in no time, probably why this trade was even on the table. Some guys just need time. Larry Sanders appears to be another good example.

Just looked up his numbers. I had no idea Conley turned in the year he did. Wow.

Yeah, statistically just a solid steady point guard. Sure would be nice... *sigh*
I wonder what held ol Herbie up. See Joe Dunk?

I don't remember my exact stance on this topic nor do I have the energy to dig through all these pages, I apparently voted no though. If I remember correctly I already thought Joe was trash but was very high on Sessions and thought he was the better PG of the two, oops.
