Outside of some dude coming onto BP. Caught that.

Bogut went to Panera and they didn't have the soup he wanted but then they did. :reporter:

Even if they were freak injuries, it doesn't really matter.

I just don't see Bogut ever getting back to the FTD level that he was at. It isn't even his fault really. When you are a professional athlete, a lot of your greatness (IMO at least) is based on being able to do it a lot. It's very difficult to be great when you can't practice, can't play in games... and even when he has been, he hasn't been at 100% to use all of his abilities.

He's hurt so often I think it's going to impact his performance from the perspective that he just hasn't played a lot of basketball in the last three years.

If you're going to trade Bogut, trade him in the offseason. Doing it now hurts the tank.

I think we should keep him anyway (and hope he loses weight). Lose Gooden, Delfino, Jackson, Dunleavy, and Udrih, and replace them with 10 day contract type guys, and the tank stays on course. Add a top 6 pick or higher, and we're not in bad shape.

Bogut, Ersan, Jennings, Harris, and high pick isn't a bad core to start with. Keep the tank rolling the following season, and by this time in 2015, we're in pretty good shape. Yes, Bogut will be old, but in theory, we wouldn't need to depend on him as much - he can be a defensive role player/garbage man by then.

Derrick Williams + Nikola Pekovic + Martell Webster for Bogut + Gooden works both in the checker and for me as a solid deal.

I wonder if Utah's offer is Millsap, Devin Harris, Burks for Bogut Udrih

I'm guessing Herb would insist on a Devin Harris/Udrih swap in any Jazz deal

Bleacher Report!

NBA Trade Rumors – Andrew Bogut to Toronto Raptors?
March 12, 2012 05:15 PM EDT
The countdown is on as the NBA trade deadline is this week and several players could find a new home in the next 72 hours.

The latest player placed on the trading block is Andrew Bogut from the Milwaukee Bucks and it's a move that makes little sense, but the team is looking to add some different players and that could be good news for whatever team is willing to take a gamble on the 7-footer.

Toronto is another team that could use some changes and making a deal for Bogut is a good start. Tyler Ward from Bleacher Report suggests that the Raptors package together Andrea Bargnani and Leandro Barbosa and send them to Milwaukee for the Australian center.

This deal makes sense and it works for both teams as the Raptors get one of the better big men in the league to start shaping their roster and the Bucks get two serviceable players that can add depth to their squad.

With so many NBA trade rumors flying around social media it seems highly unlikely that many of these deals will actually go down, but a deal between these two teams makes too much sense for them not to at least have discussions. Both teams are in need of change and acquiring players that can help with those changes can only lead to a positive outcome down the road.

The tank is over. The Bucks don't suck enough to get a top 10 draft pick this year. They might as well make a push for the playoffs. Not 1 team in the East that the Bucks can't beat.

Wish we could have Bargnani with Bogut. Seems like a good pairing.

When a Bogut trade goes down, what happens to all of our Aussie posters? Do they all fade away and turn into Warriors/Wizards/Jazz, etc fans? They originated as Bogut fans and turned into Bucks fans. It will be interesting to see if they all make a mad dash off of this board.
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.

They came for the Bogut, but they'll stay for the Twirly

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
