Imagine being so bad of a player that a team has to pay another team cash just to take you off their hands. Ouch

You're inferring that from Dame having a connection to Haynes? It could mean a lot of things, and from your framing it's coming more from the team's perspective:

1) Fire Horst
2) Fire Doc
3) Roster Overhaul outside Giannis & Dame
4) Trade Dame

Good.

Lack of patience wants me to use even more of our limited assets to get better right now but the more shrewd move is to probably let this play out and see what Dame and Giannis look like in the playoffs. If we make a deep run and choose to retool around them in the offseason, cool.

If they are a first round exit I don't see how you justify running it back, you move Dame and retool around just GA.

I mean, I've been one of the loudest proponents of trading Middleton for a while but it's very hard to argue that we're better than we yesterday. Even with all of his injury issues.

If they don't have another deal lined up, this is failure.

Bruv, its like 10 bucks for some extra server space. THe site crashes during the literal most important times of this sites existence. It's like if your cable company decided to crash during the Superb OWL or the finals.

Pacers have a ton of buyers remorse after giving Toppin a big extension after his Tim Thomas style playoff run. We could move Pat in this deal, get Nesmith, or throw in all draft capital for Mathurin.

I like Nembhard too, but he's one of their few they're not shopping.

I think Nembhard is the reason Mathurin is expendable

Yep, Nembhard is a better fit for them. He’s also under contract for 3 years after this year. Mathurin has 1 more year before being up for an extension. Myles Turner is also up for a new contract and they haven’t paid luxury tax since the days of Ron Artest and Jermaine O’Neal.
We’re fortunate to have deep pocket owners.

Well if the whole point of the first move is to do a second move and that doesn't happen, he needs an ass blasting.

The main point of doing the Middleton move should have been to enable you to make other significant transactions by getting under the 2nd apron, otherwise you just got worse for the present and future.

Also, that's just intent to not switch out Bobby/Brook for an athletic big or the '31 1st for a good player who can be here for years.

So we will criticize the lack of other activity, if it doesn't happen.

if that's it for the Bucks

Dame/Rollins
Green/Trent/Pat C
Kuz/Ajax/Marjon/Livingston
Giannis/Prince/T. Smith
Brook/Bobby/Sims

Biggest risk would be the lack of ball handling if Dame or Rollins went down imo

Bucks definitely ain't done from the feel of it. One of Lopez or Portis is getting moved. I fully expect Connington gone even if it's for Cody Martin.

I can't imagine we're dumb enough to view Kuzma as primarily a SF when he hasn't been one since his last season in LA. But Doc's our coach so yeah, he probably sees no issue rolling out a Dame/Andre/Kuzma/Giannis/Brook starting-5. We're the second best 3PT shooting team in the league and instead of leaning into that, we're gonna trot out a 5-man lineup straight out of the early 2000's NBA. Just too many stupid people involved in the decision-making process right now.

I think GTJ gets the starting job back post ASB and we go on a tear as him and Dame go into post ASB mode and Kuzma has something to play for.

Lopez
Giannis
Kuzma
GTJ
Dame

Get 3rd seed by end of season so we can play Boston 2nd round because honestly I think we match up better against them.

That clown Sean Wright is talking about Nesmith and Toppin for Portis and Connaughton?

Has he ever gotten anything right? that would be a great move.
