I'm taking note of these players and will figure out how to do this and get them back. This is just pathetic, run around in circles with Lamar or Mahomes and if you stop them they quit....if you can't they're talking sh**. Like man that's not skill, that's using a mobile QB and glitching the game.

The worst is they run around and then throw bombs to the WR who is offscreen, they have no clue if he is open or covered and he somehow comes out of no where uncovered for a big play on 3rd or 4th and long.

This is why I don't play sports games online. I forget which Madden it was but there was a onside kick glitch and people abused the hell out of it. Or, they quit/DC and it's over. Or in NBA 2k they'd just play as GSW.

I mean cheaters/glitchers are in everything, but I find it most annoying in 1v1 sports games.

Man, Mario Odyssey was maybe my GOAT Mario. I had an utter blast with that game. I can't wait for another installment, really hoping that one gets announces as part of this.

SMO was amazing. Worth every penny.

I played it through to the story’s end, but didn’t go back to collect all the moons. I’ve been real tempted to go back and hunt the rest down or just completely restart since I don’t remember a lot of it. Amazing game that I feel deserves more of my time.

Got a cable/internet predicament that I could use some outside input on. I currently have U-verse cable and internet and am at $115 per month. My promotional period is up in less two weeks so I need to call to negotiate the rate again. Fiber is not available in my area so I have 50mbs internet. My wife and I are both working from home and the internet is overwhelmed by the high load right now. I have done speed tests anywhere from 0.10-42mbs over the last two days. Her calls have been freezing and my remote connection to the work servers has dropped a couple times. I was thinking I may need to switch to Spectrum since the U-verse internet can't handle it right now. I tried calling Spectrum and the phone says they are too busy to even put you on hold go online if you're a new customer, goodbye. When I check online it looks like it would be a significant increase in my monthly bill with Spectrum since we have three HD boxes with DVR that U-verse isn't charging us for. I also have no idea if I decide to switch to Spectrum how long it would take before I would be up and running? We definitely can't go days or a couple weeks with no service working from home. Anyone done this dance in the COVID-19 environment?

I've got Spectrum for internet and Uverse for cable. I pay more than you do for the combo - about $140 for both these days. Uverse's internet sucks right now. They've installed fiber in some parts of Madison, but until it's all over, I can't switch to them for the whole package. I like their cable deal better than Spectrum's though.

Is there a reason why you couldn't schedule the spectrum install and then just cancel the uverse once you get set up?

Yeah, Madden in particular is a cesspool. Always has been. The only way I'd ever play it online is if I join a league of guys that play at least semi-realistic football. A bunch of my friends have been running a Madden league on PS4 for years now; I eventually got too busy to stay with it, but it's still going now and it was a lot of fun when I was able to actually play.

I bit the bullet and downloaded ACNH. I need to see what the hype is all about. It looks fun from the few screenshots I've seen, even as I know, deep down, that I probably won't have the attention to keep up with it long term. But hell, I've been in a gaming rut for a couple months, so perhaps this will shake me loose .

Well you will be shaking a lot of trees hoping for loose items to fall out. Had a telescope fall out a tree the other day.

Oh, Madden...Back in 2006 i loved playing madden online. There were issues but i loved the competition. Fast forward to around 2014 i started really jonesing for that experience but hated the newer versions. I went online and found that there were a small collection of Madden 2008 leagues (for pc, but you use an xbox controller). Went from joining one casually to playing in three at once to running one myself. In mine, we played 12 full seasons, all teams filled (took about 2.5 months to get through one season), trades, custom drafts each season (we would model it after the real rookie class when it lined up) At its peak, we had players from all over the world and things were constantly buzzing. We communicated over skype and had a website to keep track of files, stats and standings. It was like espn but focused on a single league. People sometimes wrote stories about whatever.

Draft season was the best... Just constant trade talk. Im in the grocery store with my gf at the time and im working three guys at once trying to move up or move down. Had excel spreadsheets for my team planning. As you can imagine, it became a problem. Running a team or two was enough but running a league was a massive headache. You had to start creating the draft prospects around week 7 if you really wanted to do a good job. We had rules regarding gameplay that people were constantly breaking so we had to figure out how to best enforce them without blindly taking sides. A lot of guys streamed or recorded their games so that helped. Actually many of the playoff and super bowl games ended up being streamed and that was always great. Most of the league watching and commenting on the game in real time.

It was a magical moment in my gaming life that will never be topped. It was a low point in my personal and social life that i dont wish to revisit. No one asked but we're all bored so there that is. I know madden very well. The new ones just continue to be god awful. People moved on from the old ones. Maybe some day they will make something playable again.

For PS5? No, it was scheduled to come out next month. COVID delay.

I've been saying that I'd rather they wait and just launch it with the PS5. This is no problem for me. I don't want to feel the need to have to buy it twice because of updated graphics.

Has anyone ever played "We Happy Few"? It's 14.99 and I remember seeing it before release but knew it wouldn't be worth $60.

It looked absolutely dope and I thought I'd love it, but the reviews were really borderline and I decided to wait for a sale and I have not yet played. I know, really helpful information here.

I've been reading a ton about Blade and Mount II: Bannerlord, and it's really making me want to buy a gaming PC. They apparently made a console port of the first game back in 2014 (Warband) and am debating downloading it. Anyone play the series?
