Well now there is a disconnect glitch where if they are losing they can quit and you don't even get the win. What kind of BS is this?
I'm taking note of these players and will figure out how to do this and get them back. This is just pathetic, run around in circles with Lamar or Mahomes and if you stop them they quit....if you can't they're talking sh**. Like man that's not skill, that's using a mobile QB and glitching the game.
The worst is they run around and then throw bombs to the WR who is offscreen, they have no clue if he is open or covered and he somehow comes out of no where uncovered for a big play on 3rd or 4th and long.
Yeah, Madden in particular is a cesspool. Always has been. The only way I'd ever play it online is if I join a league of guys that play at least semi-realistic football. A bunch of my friends have been running a Madden league on PS4 for years now; I eventually got too busy to stay with it, but it's still going now and it was a lot of fun when I was able to actually play.
Oh, Madden...Back in 2006 i loved playing madden online. There were issues but i loved the competition. Fast forward to around 2014 i started really jonesing for that experience but hated the newer versions. I went online and found that there were a small collection of Madden 2008 leagues (for pc, but you use an xbox controller). Went from joining one casually to playing in three at once to running one myself. In mine, we played 12 full seasons, all teams filled (took about 2.5 months to get through one season), trades, custom drafts each season (we would model it after the real rookie class when it lined up) At its peak, we had players from all over the world and things were constantly buzzing. We communicated over skype and had a website to keep track of files, stats and standings. It was like espn but focused on a single league. People sometimes wrote stories about whatever.
Draft season was the best... Just constant trade talk. Im in the grocery store with my gf at the time and im working three guys at once trying to move up or move down. Had excel spreadsheets for my team planning. As you can imagine, it became a problem. Running a team or two was enough but running a league was a massive headache. You had to start creating the draft prospects around week 7 if you really wanted to do a good job. We had rules regarding gameplay that people were constantly breaking so we had to figure out how to best enforce them without blindly taking sides. A lot of guys streamed or recorded their games so that helped. Actually many of the playoff and super bowl games ended up being streamed and that was always great. Most of the league watching and commenting on the game in real time.
It was a magical moment in my gaming life that will never be topped. It was a low point in my personal and social life that i dont wish to revisit. No one asked but we're all bored so there that is. I know madden very well. The new ones just continue to be god awful. People moved on from the old ones. Maybe some day they will make something playable again.
