Suns were asking for a 1st for him at the deadline, didn't get it, then won 8 straight with him out. I think they'll dump him now like they did with Warren.
Bucks get: Tyus Jones
Grizzlies get: Ersan, #24
Bucks get: Kelly Oubre, Nemaj Bjelica, Justin James
Knicks get: Bledsoe
Suns get: Charlotte 2021- 2nd rounder via NY, Bucks 2022- 2nd rounder
Kings get: DJ Wilson, Dallas 2021- 1st rounder via NY
Chuck really talked me into Bjelica, and now I think he's undervalued. I think Justin James could develop under a real coach.
I don't think the suns were trying to trade Oubre for a 1st at the deadline. You have a source?
There is some speculation they could deal him this summer because he's on the last year of his deal and Cam Johnson was such a nice fit in his place as a little better floor stretcher. They also love Bridges and will have to pay him in 2 years.
But I don't think they are looking to just give him away because they are trying to win next year.
Oubre is an interesting player. Can look great but can also make boneheaded plays. Defensively he can lock a guy down but struggles some with discipline off the ball. Super high energy and his attitude was great for the culture in phoenix. I actually think he has some upside left even though he's been in the league for a while. He was so raw coming in and it's really just the finer details he needs to clean up to be a hell of a player. Now who knows if he'll ever be able to do it.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.
