Monroe? He is a unrestricted Free Agent next year and soft. He is expecting 15 million+ next season. Drummond far better choice. Athlete who likes to rebound.
Hibbert is just plain awful my freind. Just what we need grrrr. He also not sure at times if he wants to play basketball. We already have one headcase to get rid of don't add another.
a. Who gives a s**t if Drummond is better? He's not available.
b. Monroe is so soft he's averaging 10.4 rebs per game and takes over many games offensively. His problem is more lack of verticality for ideal rim protection, awareness and mobility on d in space.
c. If Monroe's bird rights indeed don't transfer, at least he'd bolster our chances this season, we could build a relationship, and find how how he meshes with this core, sans Jabari at least.
I'm not dealing our first next draft for Monroe, but I do think Henson + a 2nd or maybe Clips' 1st + JOB would be of value. I don't rate any of those things highly. JOB is always going to suck, Henson is an actual soft player, and the Clips' pick is either going to be a low 1st or a 2nd pretty much in a few years. Monroe has the potential to factor into the future more than any of those pieces, and in the interim can help put a stamp on this season and in turn increase our chances of getting a new arena. Remind voters why they once enjoyed the Bucks and should want to keep them around.
