IDK I find it hard to care about all this that some degenerate gamblers lost money on a vice. Let them settle it in civil court versus using the FBI for this.
Not sure yet where the legal part is but guessing it relates to the fact these guys perhaps placed bets in illegal marketplaces.
The bigger problem is for the league. They’ve embraced gambling and prop bets. And if their players and coaches are front-running inside information on games and profiting off it…..not good.
It isn’t just some back alley bookie and degenerate who lost the bet that night. It’s squeaky clean “Jim Hanson” in OKC going through a league endorsed website.
