If you have to reference what a 3rd year player did in college to make a point, isn’t the point already made? Why is it so unfair to question DDV as a NBA starter? And if we are going back to college for agenda, he wasn’t even a starter in college...
He’s shown flashes of solid basketball and I’m not advocating that we trade him for a bologna sandwich but the ppl that believe he’s even a quality starter on a team with championship aspirations, I’m gonna call you delusional every time. Not as a personal attack, just as a statement that I’m baffled that anyone can see that type of trajectory for him now. It’s not a small sample size anymore....
You are clueless about what constitutes winning basketball if that's your take, and it's not just about his performance in college. He also had the 2nd-best net rating on the team in the Miami series, and he has the 7th-best RPM in the entire league among SG's after being 8th last year. There is absolutely no track record of his teams NOT being significantly better when he's on the court, NBA or college, starter or bench, and yet you act like it's not only up for question but a given that he's NOT good. You're delusional about your own understanding of what it takes to win basketball games.
