PJ is not one of the best 7 players. I've railed on Forbes forever, but at least he does something well. PJ's at best 9th best.
This won't age well I'd guess. PJ is a proven time and time again 3 and D specialist which is exactly what we need next to Giannis everyday and in the playoffs.
Teams in a playoff series will scheme Forbes off the court by attacking him on D, getting him switched onto mismatches and scoring on him over and over like they did to Korver. My guess is the FO hoped Bud could scheme around him and stagger his time with Middleton so there aren't 2 traffic cones on the court at once but he's unlikely to get meaningful time unless something changes drastically with his D so expect a lot more PJ than Forbes as the year goes on.
