I'm sorry that I can't reveal specifics, but trust me when I say that the bolded part is not correct.
If you can't disclose evidence to back up something your asserting as a fact, don't bother making the claim.
Gerald has always had an heir of arrogance to him, he thought he deserved time in Minnesota and I can understand how that rubbed people the wrong way. Don't however confuse that with being a lazy slacker. While you *claim* to have specifics contrary to Gerald being a hard worker, I can give factual instances that prove the such.
-Never has a player gone to workout with John Lucas in the offseason with the expectation of sitting on his ass. Gerald has spent his offseasons in one of the most demanding basketball camps out there, frequented by basketball players known for their work ethic.
-There have been numerous reports from Timberwolves coaches, Timberwolves players, and Timberwolves management that Gerald stayed late during practice consistently.
-During Gerald's first year he lacked range on his shot and was poor from the NBA 3 point line. The Celtics told him to work on his 3 point shot, he came back the next season and led the league in 3 point percentage half way through the year.
-Gerald's put on a considerable amount of muscle since entering the league...something most lazy players don't tend to do. Lazy players balloon up and end up fatasses like Kedrick Brown.
I can't comprehend how people are rooting for Gerald to fail, it's shameful really. He didn't get an opportunity in Minnesota this year, don't blame him for asking out in hopes of proving he belongs in the NBA elsewhere. Anyone here would have done the same if they were in his situation.
