I could see this being more amusing if Green acted like a total ass and claimed to be God's gift or something but it sounds like he tried and worked to improve but couldn't cut it.

I still think Green's best option is the Globetrotters... he can show off his athleticism and not need to worry about plays. Of course he would still have to learn a script.

Hes the basketball equivalent of "4A" player in baseball. Too good for the minors, not good enough for the NBA.

Although, Isiah or not, even money says the Knicks take a chance on him for next season.

I think Juels has both. He just needs some weight on his bones. Being shot doesnt help. I do not think he got a fair chance at the NBA level, but he is working hard in the land down under and hopefully can make a return.

Yep - that was definitely a good trade.

Hassell for Buckner has become a good trade, with DAL getting nothing out of Hassell, and we saving a year.

James (3 years, $18 mil) is a lot less valuable to us than Juwon (2 years, $10 mil).

I think we've been doing OK for trades. The best of all time, in my estimation, was a disgruntled expiring Marbury for (pre-injury) Brandon AND a lottery pick.

We did pretty good getting Googs for Donyell Marshall. Googs was solid when he was here.

If you can't disclose evidence to back up something your asserting as a fact, don't bother making the claim.

Gerald has always had an heir of arrogance to him, he thought he deserved time in Minnesota and I can understand how that rubbed people the wrong way. Don't however confuse that with being a lazy slacker. While you *claim* to have specifics contrary to Gerald being a hard worker, I can give factual instances that prove the such.
-Never has a player gone to workout with John Lucas in the offseason with the expectation of sitting on his ass. Gerald has spent his offseasons in one of the most demanding basketball camps out there, frequented by basketball players known for their work ethic.
-There have been numerous reports from Timberwolves coaches, Timberwolves players, and Timberwolves management that Gerald stayed late during practice consistently.
-During Gerald's first year he lacked range on his shot and was poor from the NBA 3 point line. The Celtics told him to work on his 3 point shot, he came back the next season and led the league in 3 point percentage half way through the year.
-Gerald's put on a considerable amount of muscle since entering the league...something most lazy players don't tend to do. Lazy players balloon up and end up fatasses like Kedrick Brown.

I can't comprehend how people are rooting for Gerald to fail, it's shameful really. He didn't get an opportunity in Minnesota this year, don't blame him for asking out in hopes of proving he belongs in the NBA elsewhere. Anyone here would have done the same if they were in his situation.

Not everyone is rooting for him to fail. I hope to see him back.
