Even Wes Johnson was relatively well playing. Yes, he still missed a few shots he should have made but overall, he was not as much of a liability as he had been before. He should keep up this kind of play. I was glad to see him attacking the rim as the game progressed. Also, he really moved the ball quite well and played decent defense. When Salmons hit a few shots in the 3rd period, Wes got caught on a down screen once but didn't let that happen again. Even though Salmons hit another shot on the very next possession Wes was in his face. It was good defense but even better offense. Not so much more he can do. Other than that he hardly gave his man any good open looks (as far as I remember).
Wayne had a great game, too. I hadn't noticed that he has been hitting his shots quite well lately. Jim/Tom said he has been shooting ~50% from the field during the last 5-6 games. That is encouraging to see. I think it's fair to say that our wing play has progressed from being abysmal to (below) average recently. It's still not good but it's gotten better. Getting Webster back should only make it better.
I really liked Luke's penetration from time to time. It's great to see him doing rather well as an off-guard. If he was only slightly taller, he'd be the perfect backcourt partner to Ricky offensively.
Love was a beast out there. Although I gotta admit that his performance looked rather quiet considering his scoring output. Usually when he scores so many points he goes on a scoring run. But I'll take it

The only thing I'm concerned about is that Love was complaining a lot. If I hadn't known the result of the game and hadn't seen the box score before watching the game I had been concerned that he might have gotten a 2nd technical foul. I don't mind him showing passion and aggressiveness but has it ever occurred that a ref changed a call because of a player complaining?
Ricky's performance wasn't as bad as some posters had said, I think. I expected it to be really bad but even the 1st quarter wasn't too bad. Yes, he didn't really connect on anything but he was being aggressive and didn't get lucky. It happens, I guess. But that didn't discourage him which is great to see. And, quite frankly, if he has a bad game and still comes really close to a triple double we are really spoiled already

Pek deserves his nickname. That's for sure. He's a rapist under the basket. I like the fact that he's getting solid minutes now, apparently. If only Darko would take this as motivation...
