After watching the game on demand, I have to say that I was impressed by the team effort. The only one I was disappointed with was Darko (out of those who played significant minutes). That wide open lay up was just unbelievably bad. Gotta dunk that, dude.

Even Wes Johnson was relatively well playing. Yes, he still missed a few shots he should have made but overall, he was not as much of a liability as he had been before. He should keep up this kind of play. I was glad to see him attacking the rim as the game progressed. Also, he really moved the ball quite well and played decent defense. When Salmons hit a few shots in the 3rd period, Wes got caught on a down screen once but didn't let that happen again. Even though Salmons hit another shot on the very next possession Wes was in his face. It was good defense but even better offense. Not so much more he can do. Other than that he hardly gave his man any good open looks (as far as I remember).

Wayne had a great game, too. I hadn't noticed that he has been hitting his shots quite well lately. Jim/Tom said he has been shooting ~50% from the field during the last 5-6 games. That is encouraging to see. I think it's fair to say that our wing play has progressed from being abysmal to (below) average recently. It's still not good but it's gotten better. Getting Webster back should only make it better.

I really liked Luke's penetration from time to time. It's great to see him doing rather well as an off-guard. If he was only slightly taller, he'd be the perfect backcourt partner to Ricky offensively.

Love was a beast out there. Although I gotta admit that his performance looked rather quiet considering his scoring output. Usually when he scores so many points he goes on a scoring run. But I'll take it :D
The only thing I'm concerned about is that Love was complaining a lot. If I hadn't known the result of the game and hadn't seen the box score before watching the game I had been concerned that he might have gotten a 2nd technical foul. I don't mind him showing passion and aggressiveness but has it ever occurred that a ref changed a call because of a player complaining?

Ricky's performance wasn't as bad as some posters had said, I think. I expected it to be really bad but even the 1st quarter wasn't too bad. Yes, he didn't really connect on anything but he was being aggressive and didn't get lucky. It happens, I guess. But that didn't discourage him which is great to see. And, quite frankly, if he has a bad game and still comes really close to a triple double we are really spoiled already :D

Pek deserves his nickname. That's for sure. He's a rapist under the basket. I like the fact that he's getting solid minutes now, apparently. If only Darko would take this as motivation...

He is stronger that most Nba centers, and in the post he has the skills.. If u don't use him offensively it's not that usefull to have him on defense and on the boards.. He is a terrific offensive low post threat for 15-20 minutes in a game.. Minny should use him properly

I think he's beginning to figure that out.

I watched the recorded game last night, and I was expecting Rubio's bad performance after read some posters here and there. I'm surprised how the people could tell that. I liked his play specially last quarter. We must remember that last quarter was our black beast last two seasons, and the guys played with sense and ambition ... and they won ... I can't understand people who expects they win all the games by +15 with a Ricky triple-double.

On the other hand, was fine to see the effort of players who usually don't play good, specially Pekovic. This man should be a little depressed. Considering the injuries,Adelman must be pleased with his guys after the game.

PS. Big **** the game at Atlanta. We could be 6/7 and fightin for a W/L balanced.

Concerning Pekovic i had a vision before the Kings game:

I too believe that Ricky had an above average performance. The best thing is that he did not start really well on either side of the court but he picked up.

I think ricky made things right at the end, but I saw him clearly overexcited for some reason at the beginning, going to the basket when he shouldn't (getting easily blocked), he even send an easy pass to someone's feet (Ellington I think) which is was really weird from him, and I could feel he was overaggressive. For the first time this season his ± was -15 at half time, while the other starters were +7.

But then in the 4th he started to play better and ened up with decent numbers. That being said everybody can have a bad game, and the fact that he pulled out 9/8/8 in a bad game is still nonetheless impressive.

I agree with drsintoma. He didn't have a bad game he did look nervous in the beginning (first start at home probably). He settled down later in the game and finished good. He just didn't have that impact on the game early on that we've already come to expect from him. That says a lot about how well he has been playing this year.

Only a thing : if I must to choose then I prefer Rubio having impact on the game finish than on the game early. How many games we have won last season when the team was tied at 5:00 to the end? How many games we have lost this season due we play bad the last minutes? Oklahoma, Miami, Milwaukee, Atlanta ...

It's very important know to play the last minutes, and I'm very happy with the game against Sacramento. :P
