You saying white people aren't quick? Cause if you are, you're right. We're slow.

Jeff Teague is a very intriguing player because he can shoot the ball and can pass the ball.Although his defensive is a suspect.
Foye/Teague/Bassy
DeRozan/Miller
Smith/Carney
Love/Gomes
Jefferson/Aldrich
I know this is wishful thinking but, hey, a fan can dream right?
Tyler Smith is a tweener that would slide to SF due to lack of size, but he's not a great ball handler, can't shoot, and old. I'd think we'd want someone who could compete with Gomes, Miller, and Brewer for minutes. You have him starting over a FA that likely won't be re-signed in your depth chart, and forgot about Brewer. AND WHERE"S COOKIE!?!?!? THAT'S A TRAVESHAMOCKERY! Guess my thinking is if we're going to go after a SF, it should be an impact one that becomes our 3 for the future, not someone who's 5th on the depth chart.
You also have DeRozan starting, while our lottery pick backs up our non-PG in Foye? Teague's not a point guard, especially not in our system with our players. He's very turn-over prone, and he's wild. He's more interested in the "spectacular" play than the easy play. Teague can hit his shots, but as DX says, "slow, very much flat-footed release, but it’s incredibly effective, especially when he has the time and space to set his feet." How in the world is he going to find that space in the NBA against quicker, longer players? Wake Forest is a VERY fast team, which allows him those open looks, we're not. Our perimeter defense is garbage enough, and he shows little interest in playing it, unless he can get the pretty steal, thus leaving his teammates hanging, and we don't have the guy to clean that up.
Teague just screams, "me first". He's concerned only about what's going to show up on SportsCenter.
