IT's hip and FA are major concerns, Bos likely didn't want to commit to him long term for the $ he wants and probably would be forced to give given their cap situation next offseason (Jrue Holiday scenario)
Nets pick might not be that great, could be closer to #10 than #1, Nets upgraded their talent and have no incentive to tank while quite a few teams do, so if its the #7 pick, eh not a huge loss
Crowder is great contract obviously, good player, but pretty redundant with GH, Tatum, Brown
Zizac plays the most saturated position in the league
So assuming all that, Boston might not see that as very much to lock into an All-NBA caliber player at age 25
