GREAT win for this team. we really needed this, especially with the knicks winning. we have some very winnable games coming up, if we take card of business we could move up a couple games in the next week or two.

JJ needs to get back to form.

If I'm not mistaken, in the past two years when Hump was used as the 5, he was fairly efficient.

I mean... why not try Blatche/Lopez with Mirza/Reggie on another unit?

Atlanta kind of sucks, they'll fall to the 7 if not 8 seed when it's all said and done IMHO.

They would be my top choice for a 1st round match up, I think we'd beat them in a rather lopsided 5 games.

i dont think blatche is a great fit with the first unit. we already struggle with turnovers, not sure he would help. he also plays better as the focal point, which he can do on the second unit, not so much with the starters as he would be the 4th or 5th option.

i like him much better with the second unit, and next to reggie evans -- we started the year with that duo, and it was super effective.

THIS^

Evans can play a small ball C pretty well. I dont like Tele obviously, but if he is going to play then we should pair him with Evans and Wallace so we can make up for his lack of defense and rebounding and they dont compete with Mirza for shots.

It only makes sense to run plays for Mirza if he is in because that's all he brings to the table. Playing him with Lopez or Blatche doesnt make sense because they dominate the ball.

The point is that we need our two best bigs in the game as much as possible. Blatche isnt just starting material, he has all star level talent. Blatche is very good at stealing the ball defensively. Having Lopez behind him to block shots can let him play the passing lanes.

Because you take away what each of those two guys do well.

If you play Blatche inside, you take Lopez from where he's most effective.

If you play Blatche outside....well...you do not want him outside let's just put it that way.
