Sick defense 1 through 5, and 2 way play.
He is currently, beyond a shadow of a doubt or best player
Players have roles. Rondae had a tough beginning to the game and I think a lot of it was physical. He toughed that game out, but he's physically compromised. RHJ still has a bit of reversion to out of control drives on occasion, but it's nothing major. For the most part, he's cut it out of the game. But Rondae has that role, he doesn't engineer comebacks, but he's a huge and really essential part of them. I think it's hard for the Nets to win if RHJ doesn't play.
I think you're defining best as 2-way players. And talking of only active players. D-Russ is quite the scorer, no one else comes close to his scoring prowess. His length helps at times with D as well. And he's clutch. Lin has a bunch of intangibles that help win games and involve his teammates, but he's not active. Rondae gets to spots, has great energy, has now a reliable fade-away jumper and gets to the line and makes most of his shots, while guarding all positions reasonably effectively. That's something no one else can do on the team.
Dinwiddie is without at doubt now the best player on the bench. He's good enough to start. He went up against the best and after a tough first half, where he sat a lot of it due to foul troubles, he led the team to a nice comeback and stayed out of foul trouble. He's also the most secure with the ball and plays solid D.
