I didn't say he has stagnated, but 6 games in, he hasn't taken a leap forward either. His rebounding being slightly up is also a result of playing next to Dudley (who is a horrible rebounder) instead of RHJ & Carroll.MrDollarBills wrote:DarkXaero wrote:I'm looking at his PER 36 numbers, and he averaged 14.7 PPG & 9.7 RPG PER 36 in his rookie year. Right now (not counting tonight's game), he's averaging 14.7 PPG and 10.5 RPG. PER of 17.5 rookie year, PER of 18.4 right now. TS% 63.6% in rookie year, 62.3% this year.
I'm looking at his real per game numbers and advanced stats, not his per 36.
even then, what you're providing isn't really proof of stagnation especially with his rebounding and blocks going up.
he's also 20 years old.
Yes, I'm well aware, he's 20 years old, thank you for reminding me. It doesn't mean he's excused from criticism.
I don't really understand your concern. he is clearly better right now in October of 2018 than he was in October of 2017. you're acting like he's not going to get better as the season goes along and in general its just weird and short sighted. relax.
