racist.
As an African American with Afro-Caribbean heritage, I take racism very seriously. Calling any person "racist" is a significant charge that should not be used flippantly or lightly.
NBA players have every right and should continue to call out, highlight, and condemn any and all people who verbally employ racist rhetoric towards and/or actively discriminate against them within and outside of arenas.
If a RealGM user provides sufficient evidence highlighting another user's racist language or conduct, the offending user will be dealt with swiftly. I/we do not tolerate racism and do not want this online community to be a hub for racist rhetoric or thought.
Regarding this specific incident, it seems that your charge of racism against ajones9219 (and other users) is based upon:
1) their criticism of a player who is black (in this case, Kyrie);
2) their support of a team located in a city where black players have suffered racial abuse.
Regarding #1: Criticism of a player who is black is not tantamount to racism. Almost all of us criticize for their quality of play and possibly even personally dislike certain players for their behavior and/or actions, not because of their race.
Regarding #2: Racist abuse put forth by some (or even, god forbid, most) fans who support a particular team does not mean that EVERY fan of the team is racist nor does living in proximity to someone who espouses racist views make one racist.
A person's guilt is established by and predicated on their own words and actions (or inaction), not by those of others.
Unless you can provide the type of evidence requested above, you have no basis to call another user racist or claim they are guilty of racism by categories of association you've established.
And because your charge of racism against ajones9219 is heretofore unsubstantiated, your comment constitutes a personal attack; you are employing an ad hominem attack and using a 'guilt by association' fallacy in order to dismiss any potential valid criticism made by ajones9219 or others.
Stop doing this! You've made similar assertions towards others before and I should've addressed it sooner. There will be consequences if you continue to do this.

On a personal note, between 2014 and 2016 I made at least 40 trips to and from Boston, each lasting the weekend (where lots of people are out and about) but often staying days longer. I took the T and buses around the city and walked in Brookline, Longwood, Backbay, Cambridge multiple times per week during all times of day. I've been to a Red Sox game at Fenway and a Nets vs Celtics game (decked out in all Nets gear). As far as I can remember, I did not see nor hear any racial slurs or experience discrimination. That isn't to say that there are no racists in Boston; I believe all of the reports of racial abuse given by the players and I'm sure there are plenty of individuals who harbor racists views. However, your portrayal of the ubiquity and extent to which racism permeates Boston uniquely did not align with my experience.

I'm Bajan-American myself
