Well, he's still the face of the franchise; with Brook gone even more so. He's the only vet leader both on and off the court. He's the only real starting caliber PG on both ends of the floor. They wanted Redick to come off the bench, I can imagine KCP would do that. Much smaller chance DRuss would do that. He was there to recruit Porter and probably will be with KCP. I'd imagine KCP can play a little bit of 3. Three guards rotation, that's pretty good. iHead and DVD might not get to play a lot unless there's injury tho. There will a tons of small lineup.
Plz be healthy!
Meanwhile, it's no sure thing KCP will come, he has many choices.
The future......who knows?
Lin will have his injuries, thats almost a given at some point(hope he's more healthy than not)
Well, an ankle sprain here and there, miss a game or two with tight back. That's fine. Just nothing serious like last year.
But that little dilemma comes back, Dlo almost for certain will not come off the bench. Which of Lin n KCP would? niether would want to i bet.
The more logical choice for me would be Lin and he could become everything in our 6th man role but didn't he want to get away from that?
I would agree that it's the more logical choice in a normal and rational world. However, with the King's absurd intervention, that logic wouldn't work very well. With no pick, it makes no sense to give the rein to all youngsters plus Mozgov. It's better to try to establish a winning culture. Let the youngsters compete for the spot and earn it. If we could get KCP for cheap it would make even more sense to have him come off the bench. No need to hand anything to DRuss, who is not without baggage; his idol is Manu anyways.
