You may have to wait until the off season. Woj reported KD aint getting traded; we are going for one last hurrah it is more likely than not he will be traded but it won't be now. Nets will be looking for a plethora of assets, Bridges alone won't cut it.
In aftermath of Kyrie Irving trade, the Brooklyn Nets and Kevin Durant are having ongoing conversations on the direction of the franchise, but organization has thus far told inquiring teams that they’re not planning to trade him before Thursday’s deadline, sources tell ESPN.

In typical Woj fashion, he did not say that definitively. In aftermath of Kyrie Irving trade, the Brooklyn Nets and Kevin Durant are having ongoing conversations on the direction of the franchise, but organization has thus far told inquiring teams that they’re not planning to trade him before Thursday’s deadline, sources tell ESPN.

Good catch, I overviewed that. It sounds like KD will be traded. I would say 70/30 chance, and I am quiet confident KD doesn't want to be here anymore.

It's sounds like the vultures are circling.
Scoop B says that the Pels want to keep their assets deep in case a star like Durant becomes available this summer.
Jake FIscher says "A bidding war for Anunoby is tempered by the expectation that Kevin Durant could become available this offseason."
I haven't seen or heard it, but a poster on a message board had claimed Windhorst said teams don't want to trade a star to Brooklyn so that they're forced to move KD.
KD is the big fish and teams are apparently terrified to spend their assets and potentially miss their chance at getting him. Toronto would seemingly have the most to lose if they can't cash in because teams are waiting on KD.

Hopefully Marks is not that stupid. A KD trade warrants a Jaylen Brown type return; I think there may be truth to SAS' report about the Boston-Brooklyn talks. Smoke screens galore, if we get Brown, I will be ecstatic because he is an all star.

For the team, I don't think you can make any moves with long term implications with this level of uncertainty so a trade now makes sense in that regard.

bridges is a great #2 that won't be a #1. he's like middleton. but getting a #2 that's almost 10 years younger than KD and signed wouldn't be such a bad outcome (along with a bunch of picks that could hopefully help find a #1 in the future).

That’s what I am saying. Mikal Bridges is turning into a Jaylen Brown type player offensively, while almost winning DPOY last year in very close race

I'd rather have the extra picks to load up for a star player shaking loose in the future. Bridges as a #1 or 2 option does not move me in the slightest.
