You may have to wait until the off season. Woj reported KD aint getting traded; we are going for one last hurrah it is more likely than not he will be traded but it won't be now. Nets will be looking for a plethora of assets, Bridges alone won't cut it.

In typical Woj fashion, he did not say that definitively.

In aftermath of Kyrie Irving trade, the Brooklyn Nets and Kevin Durant are having ongoing conversations on the direction of the franchise, but organization has thus far told inquiring teams that they’re not planning to trade him before Thursday’s deadline, sources tell ESPN.

The Suns are just not a good fit. What they have is redundant to what's already on the roster.

Good catch, I overviewed that. It sounds like KD will be traded. I would say 70/30 chance, and I am quiet confident KD doesn't want to be here anymore.

If Mikal is part of deal Nets will be my east coast team…. The guy is truly special, one of best character guys in the league. If I’m nets I would try to do this now, have a fun pressure free season with young guys and look forward to getting into late lottery…. Waiting is just going to mean no stars come to Brooklyn again

I think the Pelicans will make a move and that roster is much stronger than the Suns so it makes sense for KD too.

If you need to trade multiple firsts for an OG, why not just go ahead and turn Ingram to Kevin Durant?

Val
Zion
Durant
Jones
McCollum

Nance, Murphy, etc.

That would be their team if they just trade Ingram and Daniels with some picks. Stacked.

And for the team you have Claxton, Thomas, Daniels, Ingram and some draft picks to build around. That is solid.

It's sounds like the vultures are circling.

Scoop B says that the Pels want to keep their assets deep in case a star like Durant becomes available this summer.

Jake FIscher says "A bidding war for Anunoby is tempered by the expectation that Kevin Durant could become available this offseason."

I haven't seen or heard it, but a poster on a message board had claimed Windhorst said teams don't want to trade a star to Brooklyn so that they're forced to move KD.

KD is the big fish and teams are apparently terrified to spend their assets and potentially miss their chance at getting him. Toronto would seemingly have the most to lose if they can't cash in because teams are waiting on KD.

If I have to go from KD-Harden-Kyrie to watching a team with Mikal **** Bridges as the star player in the span of 1 year I'm going to lose it.

Hopefully Marks is not that stupid. A KD trade warrants a Jaylen Brown type return; I think there may be truth to SAS' report about the Boston-Brooklyn talks. Smoke screens galore, if we get Brown, I will be ecstatic because he is an all star.

Every superstar of this level has chosen their destination. Not sure why pelicans are being brought up, if KD goes on market, he is going to tell pelicans do t trade for me.. same as last summer when pelicans would not offer Ingram

imo the time to get best value for a KD trade will be now. League is open this year and he can be the difference in a title this season so the offers should reflect that.

For the team, I don't think you can make any moves with long term implications with this level of uncertainty so a trade now makes sense in that regard.

bridges is a great #2 that won't be a #1. he's like middleton. but getting a #2 that's almost 10 years younger than KD and signed wouldn't be such a bad outcome (along with a bunch of picks that could hopefully help find a #1 in the future).

It sucks because they'll have to trade him eventually. But I have no faith in this franchise to ever win anything while Marks and Genocide Man are at the helm.

That’s what I am saying. Mikal Bridges is turning into a Jaylen Brown type player offensively, while almost winning DPOY last year in very close race

maybe or maybe not. if phoenix or boston or toronto puts an all in offer along the lines of whatever they wouldn't do over the summer you have to consider it. other than that it's probably an easy pass right now because it's just too many moving pieces to coordinate in the next 48 hours elsewhere. especially since they're trying to simultaneously buy to improve the existing team.

I'd rather have the extra picks to load up for a star player shaking loose in the future. Bridges as a #1 or 2 option does not move me in the slightest.

I meant the acutal Boston Jaylen Brown :D I am not impressed with Bridges as a return or consolation prize. Nets will get their haul.

Suns could try to push Bridges center piece agenda but there is no way the Nets accept that. They'd have to trade the Nets every single pick + Cam Johnson etc.

New Orleans, Memphis and maybe GSW are probably the only teams with a chance to get KD in the summer. The Celtics are only an option if Jaylen Brown agrees signs an extension when traded (which I doubt).

I’m just saying, watch some bridges highlights from the last 15-20 games. As a suns fan, I’m not trading Mikal for Ingram or Brown in a 1-1 with the way he’s been playing.
