And yes, I don’t know for sure. But I’m more reacting to the idea that it’s somehow the league’s fault that KD keeps getting barred from playing to health and safety protocols. It’s not the league’s fault. They’re just trying to mitigate the spread of the virus in a non-bubble environment, which is extremely tough.
It could be purely coincidental, but this being his 2nd time in under 25 games is interesting to say the least.
thats the problem. they arent actually trying to mitigate the spread. if they were, they would have suspended the game, pulled all the players off the floor, quarantined and tested them. They just want this illusion of safety. they dont actually care. Durant breathed, sweated, spit on every player who was on the floor tonight. its absurd.
Either really try and be safe, or dont. but dont give me this half arsed fugazy PR nonsense
This. Keep in mind the league is also out here allowing the Hawks to seat fans courtside. And this is the same city they want to hold the AS festivities in. Several teams will have players present in the arena and there will probably be fans in the stands. What happens if multiple players get infected and then go back to their teams and get them infected?
Maybe they are banking on things getting better, but why take the chance? Same thing as tonight. If they didn't know what to do about KD, why not err on the side of caution and just hold him out for tonight's game? I thought the NFL did a bad job with their COVID response, but this NBA regular season easily takes the cake. Just awful stuff.
Yeah its garbage. im fine with trying to be safe in a pandemic. but then, actually try and be safe. suspend/cancel the game the second contract tracing confirms durant was exposed. quarantine everyone in the arena, and start testing. its complete crap
