They usually have Moddells sell cheap tickets for 15 or 20. Denver will sellout, so take that 30 bucks price and the best section would probably be the box seats which I think are mid-section of the area, so you will get a clear view of the court but check their website for a better visual.
Plenty of bars and restaurants are around but since you're a newbie, go ahead and try the ones at the arena. If not there is a Grill and Bar a few blocks away on Court Street but I'm not sure how good it is.
I disagree. The re-sell market on Nets tickets have been awful. You have a Sunday night game against the Spurs, National TV, with all tickets going below what STH paid face value for. My smartest financial decision was holding off on buying seasons for a year, because the Nets severely over-priced the tickets.
For a Wed. game against the Nuggets you should be able to score all you can eat tickets for $50<. I work a few stops away from Barclays and I routinely just wait it out until about an hour or two before game time. Lowest purchase were Lowers, all you can eat for 30 bucks each. Those are Prudential Center prices.
Fri/Sat games are expensive (double face) and then you have your Knicks, Heat, Celtics and Lakers games. Outside of that? It's just like the Rock. You just have to wait it out a little bit more.
I saw all you can eats for tonight go for 55$ on stubhub. 6 of them. They're gone now but they're sitting at about $90. I will bet a good amount of money those go down to the 50 range or don't sell at all.
