Meh. We aren't catching them. Either playing Indiana or Chicago in the first round, just hoping somehow we can get home court.

^Yeah, we kind of lost our chance after our recent slide.

I'd actually be okay with the 6 seed, with NY at the 2 seed, and Indiana or Chicago with a limited Rose at the 3 seed. I honestly don't think HCA matters all that much, and we seem to play well against Indiana and Chicago, and we'd be able to face NY in the 2nd round, who I think we match up fine with as well. Ideally, we end up as the 3 seed though.

If we're a 4 or 5 seed, we're done in the 2nd round...it'll be against Miami. We're not beating them. Most likely we'll be swept.

Question about going to a game. I plan on going to my first game next week against the Nuggets. Cheapest tickets around $30 on stubhub. I'm looking to spend somewhere around $75 and would spend up to $100 for tickets. What are the best sections to sit for tickets in the range?

I'm looking for 4 tickets, should I gamble on Stubhub looking for prices to fall and pick them up a couple hours before gameday? I work only half an hour from the Barclays Center so that could work. Just seeing if anyone has any experience with that.

Also anyone know any good bars or restaurants around the Barclays Center? With the way the Nets have been playing I'm going to need to throw back quite a few.

Gamble with tickets against crap teams like Charlotte or Detroit.
They usually have Moddells sell cheap tickets for 15 or 20. Denver will sellout, so take that 30 bucks price and the best section would probably be the box seats which I think are mid-section of the area, so you will get a clear view of the court but check their website for a better visual.

Plenty of bars and restaurants are around but since you're a newbie, go ahead and try the ones at the arena. If not there is a Grill and Bar a few blocks away on Court Street but I'm not sure how good it is.

I disagree. The re-sell market on Nets tickets have been awful. You have a Sunday night game against the Spurs, National TV, with all tickets going below what STH paid face value for. My smartest financial decision was holding off on buying seasons for a year, because the Nets severely over-priced the tickets.

For a Wed. game against the Nuggets you should be able to score all you can eat tickets for $50<. I work a few stops away from Barclays and I routinely just wait it out until about an hour or two before game time. Lowest purchase were Lowers, all you can eat for 30 bucks each. Those are Prudential Center prices.

Fri/Sat games are expensive (double face) and then you have your Knicks, Heat, Celtics and Lakers games. Outside of that? It's just like the Rock. You just have to wait it out a little bit more.

I saw all you can eats for tonight go for 55$ on stubhub. 6 of them. They're gone now but they're sitting at about $90. I will bet a good amount of money those go down to the 50 range or don't sell at all.

Thanks for the response. Do you know what sections are for the all you can eat? I'd definitely opt for that if I can get them under $100

Thx for the info.

I was going to buy season tickets but I decided to hold off and just see how things go.

I'm so glad I did because this team doesn't deserve my money with the way they've been playing games but I also figured that people won't really purchase my tickets for the same price I paid for them.

6, 7, 8, 9, 10

22, 23, 24, 25, 26
122, 123, 124, 125 126

15,16, 17 - ONLY SEATS 11 and UP ON THESE SECTIONS!! If you're not sure ASK ME FIRST and I'll look it up before you buy.

All you can eats at 59 a pop now. Should skate well below 50 for tomorrow if you play your cards right. I recommend going to stubhub.com, making an account, putting in your card info, and setting a price alert for your desired price. You'll get an alert when someone drops to that price and you can login and pay before anyone else does.

Nets prices are far too high for a new team in a new city. No one is paying face value for non-premium games. I always wait a year on these things when something substantial changes (new player acquired, no team, new anything, really).

I'm a Devils STH and I'm making face or double face on every game. Sold every single one. Stark contrast to the Nets where I look at stubhub and you still have 2,000 tickets sitting there before games.

Do not buy next year either. The prices are going up. Idiotic Nets management is idiotic.

Posted this on GB on one topic, but got no response, maybe you can help me here:

When do playoffs tickets overall will come on sale? I am looking to come to the States around the time of second round of playoffs and wanna go to atleast 1 or 2 games. What would be the best place to get decent tickets? And how much more expensive will they be than regular season games? 2-3 times?

As I am a huge Nets fan for a long time now and last time I was in the states I went to all 3 possible Nets games that were available during the time, I am quite positive about the possibility that this team makes the second round of the playoffs and going to atleast 1 or 2 of the games would be high priority of my visit. Would be kinda crappy if I came to the States, the team does make the second round, but I am unable to get any tickets, so I could use all the information possible before it is all in motion :) .

I'll give you two options: (1) This is my preferred option for non-STH who want to go to playoff games. You buy one of the Nets 5 or 7 game plans. And you sell all the tickets. I know it can be quite a bit of money to commit, but if you want face value seats as opposed to overpriced secondary market seats you have to do something like this. You will likely not have a shot at all buying playoff tickets when they go on sale. And if you do, they'll be at least double face. If the Nets hit the Knicks? Forget about it.

(2) You can wait up all night when they announce the tickets will go on sale and basically pay Nets playoff price for them. It will be about 1/2 the price of whatever they are on Stubhub. It does depend on opponent a bit (if we play the Pacers for example vs the Knicks) but all sports playoff tickets are overpriced.

How much should i plan to spend to get decent seats? Around 150-200 $ per seat would be enough? Decent is ofcourse subjective, but still.

Edit: Where can I buy ticket plans?

Playoffs? Depends on the matchup. For a Knicks game last row will be $200 a seat. Pacers? Maybe $50-75 for last row. There's not really a "bad" seat in the house but if you want a great seat for the playoffs, depending on matchup, premium matchup will likely be $400 a seat for a "great seat" while non-premium (talking Pacers/Hawks) will be around $250.

Guessing based on how the market has played out for premier game (Knicks, Celtics).

Partial plans are available on Nets website. I recommend calling a salesman for the Nets. They'll know a lot more than I do. But Partial will get you playoff priority (right behind STH).

I'm looking at section 108 or 9 currently for tickets to tonight's game. To take advantage of the all you can eat you mention is there a certain area I should get access to get food or is their waitress service or something similar? Sorry for all the questions

You can go to any built in concession stand (anything other than the food carts, pretty much). I recommend that if you get the all-you-can-eat seats that you utilize suite level. All of the AYCE seats have access to this. Meaning you get to cut the line (VIP entrance in the front or on Dean Streat) and you get to use the suite level concessions which are typically a lot emptier than the general concessions with similar food.

I've sat both of the sections you're looking at and you can just take a walk right up to suite level, someone will check your ticket, and you can walk around and explore. 40/40 access too.

You can buy one entree, one "snack" and one non-alcoholic beverage for free per trip. If you want more food just get back on line on any other concession. No time limit. AYCE ends at start of 4th quarter.

EDIT: AYCE starts 90 minutes before game time if you want to stock up prior to the game. Also no waitress service YET. I say YET because Barclays promised an iphone APP that would allow AYCE seats to order food from their seats. Not out yet to my knowledge.

I may also go tonight. Tickets are pretty cheap AYCE. I work a few stops away so I can afford to wait an hour before to pull the trigger.

For anyone who took my advice and waited, 5 dollar uppers on stubhub right now. Also a bunch of sub $60 AYCE seats.

Little video about Lebron calling Dirk and Petrovic the best International players of all time. Not so sure about Petrovic being athletic though. Im surprised Lebron even knows who Petrovic was.

Using Hump, Marshon, and picks as trade bait, can we fill in these spots over the summer?

Is Bogans gone next year? Does Toko even exist?

How about running a lineup like this next year?

Williams / Watson / Taylor
Johson / _______
Wallace / Bogdanovic
Blatche / Teletovic / Evans
Lopez / _______ / (Evans)

Filling in the blanks, does this work better than what we are doing this season?

Return to Brooklyn Nets
