Nothing too interesting on the Russian-language wiretap:
May 23rd: AHL defender Zack Miskovich signed a one-year contract. The 26-year-old scored 16 points in 56 games in the 2010-2011 season.
June 1st: 23-year-old forward Matthias Sjogren will sign a contract with the Capitals, reports "Aftonbladet."
"The Capitals have a high opinion of him. They've had their eye on him for a few months and showed serious interest from the very beginning," said Claude Lemieux, former NHL star and now Sjogren's agent.
The contract is for two years at $900k per season, the full portion of which he receives only if he makes the Capitals roster. His AHL salary will be much lower.
