I think we really need to promote and market Knickstape into the locker room and into the building.
I feel like the Knicks still promote themselves under this POV of being a classy organization that plays cheesy pop music and edm.
The team is gritty, the front office is black, the players have chips on their shoulders & are underdogs.
We need an identity not just with the team but also with the organization as a whole.
Stop this classy ****, stop the “we’re a world class arena because 40 years ago we won a championship and a bunch of concerts and boxing **** happened”. We need new blood injected. Where is the hip-hop, where is the culture? Brooklyn on some real **** is more identified to the pulse of NY than the Knicks if we keep it 100.

Totally agree, we need to market ourselves better, we feel old, players like knickstape? Start branding it, use the hashtag on the social networks, the official one is New York forever, it’s lame and unispiring.

Facts!
Like bro it’s crazy to me that this song right here, a theme song from 19 freakin 94, is our most famous song which contains rap elements.
Instead Friday night trash by Robert Randolph is what we’re promoting now.
And I know I’m not buggin because players see this same ****.
This is a small issue I’m ticked about but it’s really the small things that players see and honestly after a while fans see it too. Just embrace the NY culture is what I’m saying, everything feels too corporate.

I think he'll stay because the Lakers are still the NBA's premier brand, and that seems like the whole motivation for AD in pushing so hard to go there.
That said, he's probably going to opt out next summer and a bunch of teams will think they have a shot at signing him, Knicks included.
AD with what the Knicks have at present, even assuming a great draft next summer isn't winning in the East. Still behind Milwaukee, Philly, Nets (good God), maybe even Boston.
