if I was a protestor, I would have gone after those two turds.

I'll be sure to let you know when they're back when their sub-woofer starts shaking my door. They are that Florida sub-species of racist Trumpers who have a shotgun rack behind the front seat, but they love to compete with the local black dudes on who can rattle your house the most while driving through the hood.

What makes you think this is a new trend?

I'd wager the majority of their parents who actually did vote were registered Republicans. Maybe in 1975 they were more Democrat, but the last 25-30 years has seen those more tight-knit multi-generation immigrant white neighborhoods go to the GOP. That could be Italian, Polish, Irish, same basic trend.

Newer generation that was born after 1980 vs. the older generation that was part of the union and voted heavily democrats. I'm starting to see the shift with union workers from Dems to Republicans the last few decades starting with the "Reagan Democrats" in Michigan. It's the "fck you, I got mine" mentality.

Man, we must have bumped into each other at the limelight, Sound Factory, Tunnel or Webster Hall   or you were that white kid that was running away from the cops at 4am in Tunnel one night :D

ha ha ha

One time I was at the Limelight with friends and our trio of mc jacket wearing mooks started slam dancing each other in the middle of the dance floor during some new wavey disco song. We cleared the floor of that main room and there were hundreds of clubgoers standing on the perimeter at a safe distance glaring at us. So we just started waltzing with each other in exaggerated strides for our newfound audience. Totally dickish early 20s stuff, but a good time. I guess that makes me a domestic terrorist.

For the most part Corps that are saying something one way or the other are doing it because they feel they have to or it is advantageous to do so business wise. I think it’s a no brainer for the so Knicks to do so as well, but they’re a very conservative organization, so if they’re not it’s because they think it’s risky for some reason business-Wise.

Edited to add that theit boards are mostly made up of old whole guys too, and that doesn’t help

You think this RealGM Knicks "board is mostly made up of old whole white guys?" If that's what you're saying I completely disagree. My best guess is that there are many more folks of color here than on most other boards.
Tanking again, I suppose. Is there any other way?

No, meant that the boards of most major corps are made up of old white guys, so they'll have a more cautious and conservative approach toward making big social statements unless it's a very clear business win for them.

As of this moment Biden is killing Trump in the polls. It all started when the virus took down the booming economy, and was then exacerbated by the violent protests.

My best guess is that the economy will soar back up before Election Day and Trump will close the gap with Biden considerably. The last month was shockingly good for Trump, but oddly it didn't seem to affect his poll deficit.

This economic recovery will be a "V" not a "U." But is there enuff time between now and Nov?

Um, George Floyd, protests, etc.

Trump gassing peaceful protestors.

Trump alienating the military.

Generals and Admirals denouncing Trump.

Covid is still ripping apart some communities and taxing their hospitals. Infection rates are soaring in new parts of the U.S. so the first wave is not subsiding, but now regaining steam. Second wave will be in the Fall. 200,000 dead is not a good number to take into an election.

The economy is going to stumble along, not roar back to recovery in 2020. Don't know where you got that idea from.

I still believe the economy will roar back in 2020. Not as great as before the virus hit but a hellavu lot better than now. I predict it will be 70% to 80% better than it is now. People have held back buying big box, and expensive items. There is pent-up buying fever.

Try to clean off the drool on your keyboard over your salivating for Trump and the "boom economy".

I guess the Fed printing money for rich people to buy stocks is totally your thing.

Somehow you seem to forget that rich people SPEND money. That money circulates. THAT is a robust economy.

Further, when the stock markets rise it's not just the rich who make money.

"Somehow you seem to forget that rich people SPEND money." Actually, they don't. Usually they try to get other people to pay for them or they're like Trump and weasel out of what they owe.

Unless it's stock buybacks. Makes me wonder how many truly rich people you've known.

I was raised around these guys. Went to a school in the same conference as Baron T. Saw my first World Series game from the Yankee owner's box. Best athlete I knew was Johnny Carson's son who threw a one-hitter against a top public league team and struck out everyone but their cleanup hitter who caught up with his fatstball and smacked it over 400ft. My godfather was VP of S&Poors. I knew at least 3 guys worth over 100M when that meant something. But obviously you know better.

So simply based on the singular fact that you happen to know/knew wealthy people means I'm wrong when I say rich people spend money? Say what?

Who do you think buys expensive cars, huge screen TVs, and goes out to expensive restaurants? Poor People?
