I do think what Hoffa is doing is pretty childish. He’s also basically doing team’s homework for them. I’d be mad if I had to resign my free agents or had a bunch of cap space wanting to make a big splash in free agency. If a GM irl did this they would get fined for tampering and forced to forfeit draft picks.

There’s no GM putting out player profiles for free agents to the public. You’re just doing this for your own selfish reasons instead of adding solid commentary to the game. This speaks a lot about your character.

If you had a bunch of pending free agents to resign this off-season, I guarantee you you wouldn’t be doing this. But carry on.

You were tampering before free agency officially opened. Also, in the NBA the media and fans were talking (third parties). GMs don't openly offer consultation services to other GMs in an effort to weaken their direct competition. You are bush league. Even your character is bush with wishing injuries on GMs players who are successful in building better teams than you legitimately. And without crossing boundaries.

This guy NewEra already has his rotation and minutes written out for opening day. No cap. Talk about being confident smh. He better hope he can secure his targets, because what he's doing is a major gamble. We're not sure if LMA is a part of that rotation, but when informed it was predicted the 35 yr old gets $200 over multiple years, NewEra could only laugh.

Teams do offer certain players well more than they're worth, but usually they genuinely do want those guys at that price(for better or worse), and would be willing to pay it. Off the top of my head in the last few years, our very own Tim Hardaway Jr got one of these contracts, Allen Crabbe's offer sheet from the Nets, and Kanter from the Blazers, the last two of which were matched by their original teams

The main goal of those offers was to sign those players, not to screw with other teams like hoffa is doing and has been doing.

the thing is you do not have to offer the amounts im predicting... you could just let me hold the bag if i submitted an above market value offer. Also the Steve Nash free agency which the Knicks and Raps were bidding on, the Raptors submitted a massive offer sheet to landry fields even though they did not want him but they wanted to handicap the Knicks cap space so they could not pursue Nash (raps were unsuccessful when Knicks did not match). this happens in real life too

i think his stats speak for themselves got 3rd team ALL NBA and a Championship while only play 28mpg. close to averaging a point a minute, 1 of 2 players available this off-season that is carrying a 4 star rating or higher
