I look at Wemby like a stock. I'll buy some, but I wouldn't over buy and I'll sell fast if I see warning signs. I don't know how good he can be, but I will say history has shown us that players at his height will eventually be burden with some kind of persistent injury. He's just too jerky out there for his frame. It's bound to happen. His strength is interior. His outside shot sucks. Hard to see he can improve beyond his career average, which isn't great to begin with.
explaining what drives a player is important information, even if it’s in an article that critical about him. Like I said in the last post, I would have found in endearing if this became common knowledge some other way and not after an assault. It wasn’t an attack on his family but the standard that Embiid has set for himself. Embiid’s inability to stay in shape or be healthy is a major issue and it’s holding him back from being truly great. It sounds like another reporter in the locker room said the guy that wrote this article apologized when they were yelling at each and Embiid still attacked him.
If I was in Embiid's shoes I would've literally punched him in the face. Anyone mentioning a dead family member to write a hit piece is getting knocked out.
