We have the example of Okafor or Russell who prove that young players must be given time to develop. So let's frank (even smith) improved before judge them definitively.

too bad there is no market (imo) for Muiday. Would be awesome if they were able to package him along with Kanter to really clear the garbage from the roster. Doubt anyone will touch Mario :(

Mudiay becomes redundant now with DSJ. But that isn't a bad three pg rotation if Mudiay isn't traded. Trier seems like he will be hit the worst.

To me, Frank appears to have no basketball instincts, he is simply not athletic, and doesn't have a great shot or handle. I'm not sure what we could get for him, but I would try, even for a low FRP if available. I would move forward with a 3 guard rotation for the rest of the year, Smith (PG) & Dotson (SG) should start, with Trier as the 3rd guard who can play the point when Smith is out.

you don't get first round picks for players who don't have any basketball instincts.....

Apparently defensive instincts don't count either

Agreed, but worth asking, hence, why I said if available; maybe there is a team as stupid as we were for drafting him. Also, it must be a kick to the gut for Frank knowing that we tried to trade Porzingis for Donovan.

If he could be a 3&D guy, great, but he can't shoot either; just because we drafted him doesn't mean he is worth keeping.

Sure does, that's why I prefer Dotson at the 2, defense & he can shoot.

Dot hasn't shot that well in the last month and a half.

At the age Frank is right now, Dotson was shooting 31% from 3

Shooting can't be fixed?

Marcus Smart isn't close to 40% now?

I'm giving you my opinion, I would trade Frank, I think Dotson is much more valuable. Frank, despite being a good defender, has no offensive game or any confidence at all on the offensive end, I'm just being realistic based on what I see from him.

Frank has a very slow release.
I'm sorry, I just don't see him as having a successful NBA career in general, I hope I'm wrong.
