We definitely have to keep OG if we're going all in to win a championship. So while we're at it, we have to expect him to miss some time during the regular season and prepare accordingly. We can't just keep the same team. We definitely need a two-way wing as insurance.

If these playoffs haven’t shown you what he means to this team, I don’t know what’s wrong with you.

Re: OG - is he worth the money he’ll demand?
All we really need to know:
What is the plan to keep him healthy?
OG wants to miss 25-30 games per season? Ok let those games missed be on our terms:
1. No B2B's
2. 32 mpg tops
3. sit him in the 4th if it's a blowout
4. let him skip games vs Det, Was, Cha, Por
5. unless we're in a dogfight to make the playoffs, hold him out of the final 10 games of the season
Anything else?

He needs to become a better offensive player, look at what's happening to Jaden McDaniels vs Luka or Dort in the last round. At some point you may meet up with someone that has the ability to torch you even if you're all defense.

Wrap him in bubble wrap?

You mean doesn't have to play as many minutes?
Don't understand how he can be in the game but play less hard.

Never heard of this reporter and it directly contradicts what Fred Katz reported about trading Randle but I figured it was worth posting anyways.
I'm apart of a Knicks podcast! You Should check it out!

I’m sure OG wants to play with Randle. He doesn’t want to be the reason why Randle is traded. His agent at CAA is Leon’s son FFS.
I call “Clickbait BS”

What does Randle on a nice cost controlled contract have to do with resigning OG? Unless it's apron stuff that I don't understand well. Seems nonsensical

He was kinda starting to cook on offense until he got injured. Had 28 pts in the 3rd quarter of that game, didn’t put up huge scoring totals in others but was fairly efficient, definitely seems like he could rise to the occasion when needed

Exactly and he’s a wayyyyy better shooter than McDaniels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Og is one of the best 3point shooters in the league!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have no clue why nodope would compare the Two when it’s not even close!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Og clears McDaniels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The reason you're hearing about Randle being moved is because he's going to be an UFA at the end of next season, they have to decide if they want to extend him or not, his max would be 4 years $190 million so he's no longer cost controlled. He'll be much harder to move once he gets that new contract too. They will be making similar money, and we just saw OG play the 4, the rationale being that they could upgrade the SG or C by trading Randle and using OG as the new PF.

Playoffs
Jaden McDaniels - 13ppg, 4rpg, 1spg, 1bpg 52% FG 42% 3PFG 1.4 threes per game
OG - 15ppg, 6rpg, 1spg, 1bpg 51% FG 41% 3PFG 1.8 threes per game
Get it together Greenie, you're embarrassing yourself in these playoffs. The point being is that elite offense beats elite defense, and he will need more offense if we ultimately want to win a title. McDaniels is an all-defense perimeter defender, doesn't matter he's getting cooked and his offense isn't enough to offset that fact. OG may be able to score more, he has to if we're giving him a max.

The Cavs were 66-16, and 61-21 in back to back years, they didn't win a thing. You don't build a team to win titles based on 14 game sample sizes, especially not when 1 of those guys has yet to perform in the playoffs and will be 30 before we ever get to see him try again.

Ok that makes some sense, but overall I think Randle is being extremely under rated overall. Keep them both, OG is not a play maker or a guaranteed bucket. Given how Randle is talked about by most media, who else is gonna max him so who's to say we need to. Media folks would have us believe he's a negative asset

His per game numbers are skewed a little bit by playing 2 minutes in game 7
McDaniels is a solid player though

We’re more flexible with both OG and Randle. Randle is a workhorse who very rarely gets a united. He’s not going anywhere.

Re: OG - is he worth the money he’ll demand?
i agree with nodope that we need og to score more. he does seem capable of it. its just every time he starts getting really aggressive he gets hurt. that's frustrating about him. hopefully these injuries this year are just bad luck injuries.

It’s like when lil bitches make subliminal records, if it ain’t directed directly at me, I don’t respect it
