I've asked multiple times in this thread about this and it's been crickets. That kind of tells me everything tbh because Trump's open collusion with Bibi literally undercuts the argument that people in here are using regarding Gaza and the Palestinians and why they're voting 3rd party or not at all.
What I keep coming back to is why the hell isn't Bibi getting the Putin treatment then? I mean, we already established he's working behind-the-scenes with Trump...
With all due respect, this just comes off as weak and non-presidential. It's not a good look when a foreign leader can pull strings on a US leader. This isn't voters getting played. It's honestly the current administration, including Kamala.
Muslim voters in particular have been very patient here and are actually trying really hard to vote for Kamala. Just look Wingo for example. Since I've been on this board, he's been a staunch democrat supporter. Just recently he only started questioning things and he's still giving Kamala a very last minute chance. That's honestly some incredible loyalty.
This is a pivotal moment for dems if they truly want these votes. But it looks like they are trying their luck with the Liz Cheneys and other neocons of the world (the same ones who loved George W "freedom bombs").
I've already laid out my criticism of Biden. We are in agreement 100%. Joe's Israel/Gaza foreign policy has been a disaster and he looks weak for not slapping Bibi down once he crossed several red lines. The Woodward reporting on this made Joe look like a complete fool that got played.
The US will not treat Bibi like Putin due to the strategic alliance that he keeps straining and weakening with his behavior. But we know full well now that this is apart of his historical pattern of election interference in US politics. He is targeting the sensibilities of people who are rightfully angered over Gaza. He and Trump are working together, and here is where the disconnect is:
Harris' official stance is to push for and broker for a complete cease fire and an end to hostilities. Hamas has been massacred at the top level (and frankly, good. F*ck them for what they did), it's time for this to end. I personally don't think based on what I've seen from Harris and her stance on the matter that she will allow herself to get rolled by Bibi. The fact that Bibi is working with Trump should tell you everything. He is afraid of her, and frankly Bibi is a racist pig, so that probably also plays a role.
Trump's stance is to derail and peace initiatives, which he has already admitted to doing, and to let Bibi wipe the entire Palestinian population out in one shot. He does not care.
By voting 3rd party/not voting, that only helps Trump and Bibi. We can debate whether or not this is a slow death vs a fast death situation, because that point has merit, but in no way shape or form does it make sense to help Trump get back into power if the plight of the Palestinians is sincerely what matters to you and others with your viewpoint. Help me to understand that?
