Mitch + Randle + RJ + Quickley are good building blocks. No need to give them away just as they're showing improvement and continued potential. Even Knox is slowly climbing up the charts which is a huge surprise. Even if we just add our two 1st rounders this off-season plus sign a guy like Oladipo, we'd be well on our way to growing into a top 3-4 team in the East. That's the kind of rebuild everyone has been clamoring for. Note that it makes a ton of sense to build a contender for 2-3 seasons out when Brooklyn and the Lakers (and Warriors) are all on their way down. We can become one of the NBA's elite teams someday, I believe.
the fact that the discussion of trading Obi is even on the table (even amongst fans) goes to show it was the wrong pick
It's certainly a difficult dilemma (a good one, but difficult nonetheless). I can't see the FO trading Obi tho since he was the 1st pick that this FO made, and they were apparently so sold on him that they reportedly even tried to move up to get him.....+ Leon's son is 1 of Obi's agents
Way too early to write Toppin off. He may well end up being the BPA out of this draft. We don't know yet.
