that is where we need Thibs to have a counter for that. We know how teams will play it now we need to execute vs it.
Too much stagnation when team switch with us. Good thing we know its an issue right now...should be plenty of time to work thru this during the season and be prepared for it during the playoffs.
All counters are really going to boil down to isolation against a switching team. We can pick and choose which matchups we want to exploit and then it is a matter of punishing it until they put two on the ball.

If we can trade him for a 1st round pick or multiple 2nd round picks, we should jump on that opportunity
Sims, precious, kolek and pacome for Kessler and sexton!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It would take more than that from Ainge (and I would be OK to give it to him). There are reports they are definitely looking to deal by the trade deadline (while Markenen basically being the only near untouchable). If we were to go after Sexton (who I don't think we would even really need) it would mean including Mitch as that's the only way salaries work.
Kessler (2.7M)
Sexton (18.4M)
Mitch Rob (14.3), Precious (6M) , Pacome (1.8M), Kolek (2.1M) =24.2M and 2FRPs for Kessler (2.7M) , Sexton (18.4M) , Johnny Juzang (3.1M) = 24.2M
The more likely would be something like Kessler (2.7M) , Drew Ewbanks (5.0M)+ Juzang (3.1M) =10.8M for Precious (6M) , Pacome (1.8M), Kolek (2.1M) , HukPorti (1.1M) = 10.9M and 1FRP
You have at that point greatly fortified our biggest weakness: Rim protection at the 5. Utah gets the youth movement it's looking for with some interesting prospects and a FRP to boot.

he even hit that pull up 3 on the break
you know he's feeling good about the jumper when he's taking and making that shot.

That and when he crossed his defender up to hit a middy had me

i mean, how many baths do you need to take after you get sprayed by a skunk?
You gotta bathe in tomato sauce or something crazy to get the stink off if I recall, so, these things take time.

agreed it will be isolation related and most likely Brunson or Towns being the guy. I just hate when they just give it to Towns so far away from the basket vs a small. Too much room for mistakes.
After you get the switch. Need to swing the ball and get Towns on a cross screen across the paint. Have him on he low block instead of trying to great at the 3 pt line.

Yeah I'm going to need OG to score more than seven points.
The defense is fantastic and all, but if we are going to be a contender he needs to continue dropping 18 points per game.
Oopsy. I could’ve sworn I heard CP say 7 turnovers. My bad OG.
How do these guys drastically go from sweet to sour from one game to the next in the shooting department?

Agreed. Once Brunson draws the big out, Towns should get to the paint. The issues come when they double/hard hedge Brunson on the switch. Basically, OG or Mikal needs to be a better connector there because Josh generally isn't on the same side as the 1/5 PnR action. Either that or KAT needs to do more Hartensteining out of the pinch post.

Context wrote:sorry Knick family I'm not buying into this notion that "fans" needed to hold Mikal (who is clearly not the type to be rattled) "accountable". Mikal is a player who may not be a #1 but he can put up 45 points and carry a team. When you come from
a team where your role was bigger- it takes time to figure out your new lane- especially a team that's this dynamic.
I mean 20 games in -we're the #1 offense -Yet, you want everyone to drop 30![]()
The fact that no one made a post on the great game he had is negative to me...
20 games in! No precious. No Mitch. 7 man rotation. New team. Chemistry under construction. I think we have a better record than
Lebron's big Miami 3

I think their problems long precede Zion's health/diet/other issues.
David Griffin has built a monstrosity of a roster with some of the best cards any GM had in the league.
I was telling one of my friends a couple weeks ago that trading for Dejounte made zero sense. They have 3 ball dominant players in Ingram, Cj and Zion and they decided to add another one. What is their GM doing?

This winning games stuff is really terrible! Where's the 21 win seasons where everyone has favorite players to argue about even though they can't win a fuggin game?
