I never do these trade scenarios but why not.

Houston gets--Melo, C.Lee

Knicks get--Kyrie, TJ Warren, C.Frye

Cavs get--E.Bledsoe, T.Ariza, KOQ, 2022 1st rounder (Houston)

Phoenix gets---i hate this but Frank Nitty, E.Gordon, 2020 1st rounder (Knicks)

Houston gets their guy in Melo and C.Lee and send out T.Ariza, E.Gordon to make the Melo money work and send out a future 1st.

Knicks get our stud PG in Kyrie, add a nice piece in SF TJ Warren and take on the one year contract of C.Frye while sending out Melo, Frank Nitty (i hate it but it's for Kyrie) KOQ, C.Lee and a 2020 1st rounder.

Cavs get E.Bledsoe to replace Kyrie, T.Ariza who will be a great piece for them to make their eastern conference run, KOQ and a future 1st from Houston while sending out Kyrie and C.Frye.

Phoenix gets their young future PG in Frank Nitty who they supposedly want, E.Gordon and a future 1st from Knicks which maybe we can make a top 5 protected for giving up E.Bledsoe and TJ Warren.

I didn't go look at all these players contracts but think these all work or come very close to working with the money/contracts going out compared to the money/contracts coming back with each team. There could be other smaller pieces that might have to be added somewhere but i'm pretty sure everything is close enough to make things work. I guess i could see the Cavs wanting either another draft pick or young player for giving up Kyrie.

Waaayy too much for us to give up. That's basically gutting the team. Leaves us with no depth.

Also, no giving up Frank!!! I feel like a lot of people are quick to throw him in these trade discussions cause we didn't see him play summer league. What if he had and he put up ... ohh ... DSJ numbers :o There would be 75% less activity in the Kyrie threads on this board cause everyone would think we have our PG of the future.

We're either rebuilding or we're not

If we are rebuilding, and we are, we don't need kyrie and we can't be sending out picks or 18year old lottery picks that haven't even played for us yet. Kyrie will seek and get a super max

He's not the guy
This isn't the trade

No thank you
I'd rather Bledsoe than kyrie anyway

I don't quite understand why people care when this deal gets done.

The longer it drags out, the better. We are the least desperate party in this arrangement.

We're sending out 4 players and bringing back 3 players so how is that gutting the team?? I think people on here are over valuing what we're gonna get back for Melo is what the problem is and some might be under valuing what Kyrie should bring in return and just how good this kid is and is still just 25 years old. So you don't think Kyrie Irving and TJ Warren are worth Frank, Future 1st rounder, C.Lee and KOQ?? Kyrie is worth Frank and the 1st by himself and actually i could add KOQ in that worth as well. C.Lee for TJ Warren i'd do all day and C.Frye is just a one year throw away. I'm not even sure i'd do this trade and was just throwing out an idea. I wanna keep Frank as well but it's Kyrie.

I basically agree with you except that Kyrie >>> Bledsoe, and I'd be willing to send out a 2021 pick or something for Kyrie.

I agree that we are rebuilding, but if we are still a lottery team by the time 2021 draft rolls around (when Porzingis is beginning his prime) then we have failed anyway. a 2021 pick shouldnt be that valuable to us assuming we are rebuilding properly. a 26 year old Porzingis, a 28/29 year old Kyrie, and a 27 year old WHG, a 23 year old Ntilikina, and any other draft/ free agent acquisitions we can get including stars, is a great place to be

But yea, I am against trading ntilikina or more immediate first round picks for Kyrie. especially next season's first round pick
