They gave up an average of 116 after they fired him.

he is a defensive coach
It's kinda wild that people have diametrically opposed views on what Mike Brown's acumen is

Realistically where would those minutes come from? Even if you play Brunson, KAT, Bridges, and Anunoby 30mpg each, and Mitch another 24, that's a total of 96 minutes of bench play available. Hart, Yabu, Clarkson, and Deuce will eat that up.

Thibs had a team led by Randle most of the time here.

So phil Jackson is an awful coach. All his rings are asterisks

This reminds me too much of when we hired Jeff Hornacek

The Suns had two really good years with him in which they had no business winning as many games as they did. Then Phil hired him. Hornacek did as well as anyone could under Phil, and then under Perry/Mills

doesn't Brown have considerably more experience than Horny did at the point we hired him?

not trolling, legit question I have.

Brown has been coaching in the NBA for almost 30 years, whether as an assistant or head coach.

Is he an elite assistant but just a "decent" head coach? We are gonna find out.

This is Mike Brown's last chance to cement a legacy as a head coach in the NBA. If he doesn't success here, I think he either goes back to being an assistant, coaching in college, or joins a broadcasting team

Hornacek was pretty elite as a basketball player and had limited experience as an assistant for the Jazz and then head coach for the Suns before coming to the Knicks. Most recently he was an assistant for the Rockets

aight maybe I was trolling a little bit

appreciate you though.

Maybe he gets Karl to stop doing dumb sh*t. Maybe not. But he gets a clean slate from me starting now.

There is evidence to suggest that was Jordi Fernandez running the offense in SAC. I really think we need to bulk up the coaching staff as much as possible because outside of LeBron and being an asst his only success came in SAC. 31 games (13-18)after Jordi left Brown was fired. He couldn't figure out the rotations and wasn't playing Keon Ellis. immediately after he was fired they went on a run. So he apparently lost the locker room too. Not a good look IMO.

Who is on his crew. That's a huge question.

I'll repeat... Brown as the HC is fine... what really matters is who his top 2-3 assistants end up being. I'm hoping for some home runs. Leon has been cooking the last few years.

I think because he was on the Kings who had all that offensive fire power people think he was a main part of that offense. He's not that type of offensive mind. Hence all the rumors of Borrego or adding an offensive coach to the staff.

Just wanted to point out that Fernandez coached Brooklyn to the 2nd worst offense in the league this season so I don't know. Kings fans will have more intel than I do.

I thought Brown was proponent of Princeton offensive principles.

I'm all kinds of confused now.

Brown was the new Thibs when he hit the scene. A defensive Wizard fresh off the Pop tree.

After his second stint in Cleveland, he went to GSW to learn more about the modern offense.
