Agreed. It's really frustrating as a fan. They have a lot of talent too- guys with potential to be stars. But they always seem to be on this crusade to prove people wrong and spit in the face of the outspoken, older fans who try to influence the product and let the company know what they want to see and what they don't. Back in the day.. they used to listen. Now, with no viable competition, it's more like.. stop watching if you don't like it. They've even said that on TV. It's pretty arrogant.
Just read a few reports about Raw's ratings continuing to dip. Even though I think the product has gotten a lot better over the last year and a half, and I've been watching it much more than I have since I stopped watching in the early 2000s, I hope they continue to fail and are forced to make a big change. I don't know who's at fault, but whoever is holding the product down, whether it's Vince or someone close to him giving him bad advice, that person needs to step aside and hand the keys to someone with the energy and creativity to make the product fresh again. I'm inclined to believe HHH can be that guy, but maybe I'm wrong and he's part of the problem too. All I know is- WWE needs a makeover.
