Many factions can be good. You can fall short, that is okay - especially if in a team game they have been together much longer and you just happen to be without your gatekeeper.
And before anyone says I’ll settle: we win a playoff series against Cleveland.
Nah, just by you typing this reply, I can tell you’re ok with settling for less in life, and probably ok with participation trophies
Get a grip, we lost by:
35 to the Celtics 2/8
35 to the Celtics 10/22
30 to the thunder 1/10
37 to the Cavs 2/22
I just gave you four games over the course of 4 months where the deficit has INCREASED. OKC hasn’t been together “for years”… “they”added 2 main pieces in Caruso and iHArt the same way we have with KAT and Mikal. This has nothing about being “factions being true” or “cheering for them because we are “fourth best” You make no damn sense. The freekin’ wizards lost by less to the Celtics. It’s about pride and toughness, you claim to know about the Knicks of the 90s, then you damn well know those teams of the 90s weren’t getting molly whopped by 30 points in multiple games.
Serious question, what makes you think we can win a playoff series against the Celtics or Cavs?? Thibs never adjusts, and it aint the 90s anymore bro. Have a look at the games and you can see how we run to protect the paint even when no one is there. Losing is one thing, but the games being over before the second half starts is another. We are being out coached, out hustled, and out smarted damn near every play against these teams,
and if that doesn’t frustrate you and you’re ok with it, then step away from posting. Pick your pride up off the floor,
we were supposed to be BETTER this year , you think the second half team of last year would lose by THIRTY in these games??

What an idiot answer… I can sit here comfortably, smile and tell you F off and mind your own business where you’re very, very frustrated with things even of that nature.
These are things you cannot influence, yet you “demand” instant success as if life worked that way or you were in position to demand something here - as I said, that’s childish to me. You seem very agitated, triggered and emotional, maybe you should relax. To your points, this team was never supposed to already be as good as you claim, let alone the actual favorite to win it all this year. But they are the best team in decades. We were gifted Towns for our trash, which is great progress, but he isn’t Michael Jordan. So far, the team has been exactly as good as it was supposed to be without their starting center or hardly any bench contribution as well as two starters added to the mix. And while Towns would be the best player on the Cavs,
I think it is very stupid to ignore how good other teams still are because they have progressed over the years, learned to play together, improved from within and added to their depth etc.If we had Josh Hart come off our bench, we’d be killing these teams and it’s not even out of the question that we might still make that type of noise this year. But go on and complain, I don’t care.
What’s more though, winning and losing by thirty is simply the modern NBA. We blew out the Grizzlies recently and they are still capable of beating us next time.
Ultimately, your proud heroes of the 90s were after all eliminated from the playoffs year after year and didn’t win anything, yet you do seem to have settled, enjoyed and cheered for them.
To the first bolded point, you damn right I demand greatness, not to toot my own horn, but when my family moved to this country, I lived in a car for 2 years as a kid, because we didn’t have money. Now both my sister and I are successful respected doctors in NY, that earned a hefty bag. Pretty damn good coming as immigrants from the Caribbean. If I didn’t demand greatness of myself then I wouldn’t be what I am. You should learn to carry a chip on your shoulder, it will take you places you couldn’t dream of. I’m neither angered, triggered nor emotional, on the flip side, I’m driven. But if you are ok with the Knicks getting blown out by 30, “its ok because we are fourth best” and were “never the favorite to win it all this year”, well that separates people like you, from people like me. The difference between great and good, is work ethic, discipline and want-to. What I see on the court against the top 3 teams is poor work ethic, dedication and no heart.
To the second bolded point, the only thing I’ve beaten the drum on the forum for years is that we should fire Thibs, and go with a more modern coach. The Cavs did absolutely nothing this year (until recently by getting Deandre), all they did was change their coach, which goes to what I’ve been harping on, new coach, new philosophy, same team, better results. We have the opportunity to WIN A RING, that’s what the Crux of the argument comes down to, and what’s holding the team back is THE COACH, and archaic defensive philosophies.
To the third bolded point, weren’t you the one to Bring up Spree and Camby first? lol Tf????

And to the last bolded point, losing by 30 is not simply the NBA. lol tf??? No other team has lost by more to the top 3 teams in 6 games than us. Losing by 30 once is a bad night. Losing by 30, two nights can be due to tired legs. Losing by 30 points 3 games sounds about right if you’re a tanking team. Losing by 30 points in 4 games when you’re expected to have been the second best team entering the conference prior to the season is just embarrassing, and not part of today’s NBA, come on man, Stop it, and take a step back from posting.
