Trade suggestion I saw

From Knicks
Randle ( 3 years, $25mm per) + Reddish (1 year, $6mm)

From Charlotte

Hayward (2 years, $30mm) + PJ Washington (1 year, $5mm)

Why for NYK:

-Frees up Obi

-fully gives "keys to the car" to Brunson, RJB without the potentially disruptive Randle making offense more clunky like last year
- Higher efficiency player in Hayward?

Why for Charlotte:

-Randle gives them a front court scorer, something they don't have with Bridges career now in jeopardy

Main concern is is Heyward at 30 starting to become injury prone?

Trades during draft, signings, S&Ts... and this has to be done in order. All will be revealed on July 6th

I’d do this trade in a heartbeat, despite Hewywards injury issues, he’s a much better fit, shoots the ball well, creates his own shots and fits how this team wants to play..

We need someone to clear up the cap implications for these moves. I'm getting confused with TPEs and cap rules etc.

I was under the impression we could only offer Mitch 4/54. Now he's getting 4/60. I thought we needed to S&T for Brunson or we wouldn't be able to make any other moves except for Mitch and the exception. We signed Hartenstein for 8mil per. How?

We need answers.

Nothing is official until July 6th and all these deals can be maneuvered to the way we need them, if something comes up.

Yeah...that doesn't answer any questions I posted though. I know nothing is official but, how can they make sense if we needed to clear cap space just to afford Brunson and now we are paying Mitch more than we were supposed to be allowed? Plus the Hartenstein deal.

we had about 36 million in cap space with Mitch' cap hold (no Taj). that was invested in Brunson and Hartenstein and now we are going over by re-signing Mitch.
