Bogdanovic is 28 and he is a volume 3 point shooter, that can handle the ball and took the starting job from Hield because he plays better defense and has better all around skills. I'm kind of curios to see if he can breakout as a scorer since he wont be competing for shots in a backcourt with Hield and Fox.
He’s not bad but he’s 28. Doesn’t have a long term role here. I rather have Malik Beasley. But he’s off the market now. Quickley is a sniper so we should just start him.
I should like Bogdanovic since he's a very versatile all around player, but having watched him a decent amount (but not extensively) I feel like I'm impressed by him like only every 4th game.
It's weird.
Again this is why paying Hayward >>> paying most of these bums. Bogi played decently well on a perennially bad team. Hayward has done it on good teams. Very well Bogi could end up coming here, being over-extended and not fulfilling his deal. Then he looks like an albatross. I think if you get Bogi you have to get FVV but then you tie up your cap in those 2 pieces that very well may not even get you in the playoffs in an all of a sudden way more competitive East.
It's very likely the Knicks are getting used in the Hayward talks, but I don't mind them sitting around and finding out if they are because most of the other options suck anyway. As long as they have a clear coherent plan if FVV and Hayward punt on them, then whatever it was worth waiting it out. I think the Burks signing shows they at least have some sort of idea what they want to do because they signed him at an amount that allows him to be an exception if needed.
