I don't know how it is possible, but every coach the Knicks have had during this millenium has been very weak at making in-game adjustments. Thibs did better on some points last night than I think he usually does, but that was the key adjustment he did not make and it probably cost them the game.
RJ was very effective overall on Ja and his defense on Ja helped keep him quiet while the Knicks mounted a comeback.
I'm going to watch the game again. I didn't have a focused viewing last night. Your take is contrary to everyone else, but I'll watch again and see if my first take is correct. I saw Ja blow by him many times, but maybe I missed the rest.
