Lol he’s better than Bamba. He can drive, score in the post, make a decent decision and shoot a little. They are both equally bad on defense. But Moe W is far, far tougher
We all love Moe Wagner, but I don't think that's realistic...for all of Mo Bamba's faults, he can really shoot, finish lobs, and deter shots. We're talking backups here, but still...
Bamba literally has to have all his shots created by someone else and if he has to do something on his own he screws it up. He’s one of the worse drop off passers and screeners in the league. He has little endurance and provides almost no resistance in the post. Deter shots? Most of the time he doesn’t even jump. Yes 7 footers with huge wingspans get blocks from time to time. It’s like saying Steven Hunter was good because he could dunk and block a shot sometimes. IMO
He’s back now though so…hope he gets better lol
All this hand-wringing about ‘creation’ …somebody has to actually make the open 3’s

our two best players are creators (not even counting Fultz and Suggs) who haven’t proven they can reliably hit 3’s. Everybody’s cheering WCJ for taking 3’s for the first time in his career- maybe this year, he makes some….I’m rooting for them all to develop 3’s but we were bottom 3 (I think) and fans want to jettison the only two guys that made any. Bamba’s not very good, but you can’t not shoot 3’s and have a prayer in this NBA.
He’s in for a backup role…the better he plays, the more minutes he earns. Relax…worry more about why your #5 draft pick can’t make a shot. (I love Suggs but he NEEDS to make a big leap…now!)
