well sure...but why in the world would Minnesota trade him?
He's on a rookie scale deal for 2 more years, he was their second most utilized player (total minutes) last season, had the most Win Shares on their roster, and his age and game complements Towns and Wiggins'. He is very much a key part of their future.
...if anything they'll look to move Pekovich once Towns settles in
You Never know,if you offer them fournier and nicholson may be they would trade dieng.
cmon you want them to give up a really promising young 7'er (9.7 PPG / 8.3 RPG / 2.0 APG / 1.7 BPG / 17.2 PER) that they need and is a good fit --- in exchange for a back up wing that is a free agent next summer and a player who couldn't get off the bench on a lottery team? lol... sure hey you never know
yeah Fournier isn't going to get you Dieng. Good shooters are easier to find then good and promising young big men. And Nicholson doesn't bring much value if any at all. Plus both are free agents and they very well might not even want Nicholson back at all. Why do that for a guy that you control long term and has bigger upside than either Fournier or Nicholson.
