I see Aaron Gordon as a fan favorite in the NBA and will be on the Eastern Conference All-Star Team as a starter!

Love the optimism! It may not be next year, but he's definitely going to have multiple all star appearances representing the magic!!

I hope I am wrong, but I see a more athletic Shane Battier written all over AG.

I think AG is as unique as it gets.

At the very least, I've already seen glimpses of AG that lead me to believe his floor is GOAT dunker. That's exciting in and of itself.

Battier couldn't jump and fly like AG.

17.5 pts, 8.5 reb, 2.8 assists, 1 block
Points wise I don't see his Stats going that high. I have him 11-13 pts, 7-9 reb, 3 asst. With exceptional defense. It all depends on his minutes and opportunities he gets on offense. We all know he is going to be guarding the best the perimeter player every night or at least we hope.
if he's not then vogel should be brought up on fraud charges.

If he found his jumper this year and has regular Vinsanity-type dunks to add to 20 ppg+, then I agree. But if he is a 11-14 ppg guy, he is not an all-star. Being a Sky-walker is not enough. "ppg" is the main fan indicator for all-star selection.

I think at his peak, AG will have the numbers that Naval posted. However, he will not have many opportunities to expand his role in the SL this year. Vucevic had a usage rate above 25% last year. Evan and Elfrid were both around of 20%. Serge had a usage rate that was a shade below 18%, but we've already promised him a feature role in the offense. I'd imagine he's getting at least 20% usage rate this year as well. I'm not sure AG will have the opportunity to grow into a featured role this season.
Switching Bismack with Vuc in the SL doesn't help us either because it kills our spacing and forces one of our existing players to carry an unsustainable usage rate. We don't have that kind of superstar scorer on our team at the moment.
It's also problematic that the highest usage player on our team doesn't draw free throws. We've also acquired Serge who will present the same issue (worse than Vuc in this regard). In fact, there's a great possibility that the best player at drawing fouls in the SL, could also be our lowest usage player (Aaron).
With all of that said, I think we make the playoffs this year, but our offense is gonna be very clunky.

And no one had to teach Battier to shoot from scratch.

generally, Horford has never been a big ppg guy and got multiple all-stars. Korver got in 2 years ago without much ppg.

All we have to do is win 60 games and he's in!

and saying that you need ppg to get the fans to vote for you. Yet Horford and Korver show that you dont need ppg to get in

I don't think either of them were voted by fans , I think the coaches added them to the all star . I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure the fans vote the starters and the coaches vote the bench .
