On the basketball side of things, the structure has some big dents.

No one really knows what the decision making process is with regard to the roster, but I would assume that there is a vetting process on every potential roster move.

The Magic organization is great from top to bottom from a community standpoint.

The problem though ..... is that they have never been able to figure out the people thing.

That's all fine and dandy, problem is, is that he forces his way into basketball decisions. We have a GM for a reason. You do your job and let the GM do his.

So, do we have any proof that Alex Martins is the one pulling the strings on the Basketball side of things or is he more involved on the Business side of things.

Because, if he truly is more just Business side of things, then Alex is not in the wrong.

Without actual proof or facts, then people here are just guessing and throwing blame.

Just looking at Martins. You can tell that he's a snake in the grass.

I have to agree with you there. I wouldn't be dissapointed if we just fired all management and started from scratch with a new regime.

Dwight Howard and a contending team built the Amway, not Martins. It made the magic popular and the electorate willing to accept the cost.

Devos, or any other owner, have more then enough money to build a state or the art arena for their team and community.

They have people like Alex Martins to convince us of their generosity by building playgrounds and other less expensive projects.
let paid professionals do their job, don't you try and do it for them...

We need to hire Anfernee Hardaway as President of Basketball Operations and hire an GM who has an proven track record for building a winner!

Follow the Lakers plan...

Alex Martins is the freaking Prez of the Orlando Magic. OF COURSE HE HAS A SAY. They all need to be fired as a collective group since I believe they are all making these decisions together.
