Not sure why a basketball team needs to do something like this when they're payed to play basketball, but okay. Especially since they're a right-leaning Organization that might disagree with the things the SJW's care about. As do I.
The players are free to do whatever they want. The Organization has no obligation to do anything they don't want to in terms of politics.
Not trying to derail the tread but I agree this had me puzzled as well. I am for social change but why must a team be forced to take a stance this is a basketball league not a political convention. If a team or player does decide to take a stance that is their choice. And since the team is owed by the DeVos family the stance they do take you will likely not like so it is best they keep it to basketball only.
Almost everyone on the Magic has already kneeled in support of BLM after the Jacob Blake tragedy. They should take a stance with their players. Or at least be consistent. That's why I think there's a lot they can do to improve.
